Notre Dame du Rosaire Catholic Primary School

Well done to all our Notre Dame’s Got Talent contestants for a fantastic end of term production, including all the helpers, djs etc. Congratulations to Macie, Amelie and Leonie from Y5 for their winning comedy sketch, which had the audience in stitches. We were very happy to welcome Tim and Sydney from Radio Guernsey as our judges. Well done to Miss Cameron and Mr Robin for organising.

Day 3 at Herm Camp: yet another sunny and active day, scavenger hunting on the beach, meeting up with Reception, shelter building, a meal out at the Mermaid and story-telling back at camp before bedtime. Exhausted but happy. 🙂

Day 2 on Herm Camp: Another sunny one, spent telling stories through nature, beach fun and sea swimming, followed by pizza and rounders. New skills have been learnt too, including butter spreading and dish washing! Here’s hoping for a good night’s sleep. 🤞

Year 6 Herm Camp has got off to a good start, with great weather to begin the week. It’s been a fun and active day, and we’re now attempting to settle down for the night. Wish us luck!

Don't forget we have a follow up Growth Mindset afternoon this Friday 12th. We will be talking about how to help your child (and yourself) develop resilience to keep going when a task gets a bit too tricky. You don’t need to have been to the first session for this session to make sense. It will be great fun and suitable for all year groups, so come along 2.15 - 3pm. Refreshments and creche will be available, and you'll still have plenty of time to get to the juniors for pick up time!

Our second group of year 3s have enjoyed an action packed day at Rue Maingy, and are now looking forward to a good night’s sleep (hopefully).

These Year 6s completed the Level 1 and 2 Bikeability programme yesterday! We are very proud of their hard work and wish them safe cycling!
