🇬🇪🇺🇸 საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტისა და ამერიკის ნუმიზმატიკური საზოგადოების თანამშრომლობის ფარგლებში, დასრულდა ქართული მონეტების კოლექციის ფოტოგადაღება და საარქივო დოკუმენტაციის შესწავლა, რომელსაც პროფესორი დავით ბერიკაშვილი ხელმძღვანელობდა.

⭕ ნიუ-იორკში, ამერიკის ნუმიზმატიკური საზოგადოების ოფისში, ინახება მსოფლიოს ქვეყნების სხვადასხვა ეპოქის მონეტები, მათ შორის ქართული, რაც თავის მხრივ აერთიანებს სახელმწიფოს მატერიალურ, კულტურულ საისტორიო წყაროებს.

🔎 პროექტი, რომლის დასახელებაა -"ამერიკის ნუმიზმატიკურ საზოგადოების ფონდებში დაცული ქართული მონეტების კვლევა-პუბლიკაცია" - საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტის სამეცნიერო ინსტიტუტის საგრანტო კონკურსის გამარჯვებულია და მიზნად ისახავს ნუმიზმატიკური კატალოგის მომზადებას. აღსანიშნავია, რომ კატალოგი ხელმისაწვდომი იქნება მსოფლიოს მასშტაბით ყველა დაინტერესებული პირისთვის, რაც ორმაგად გაზრდის საქართველოს ისტორიის შესახებ ინფორმირებულობას, სხვადასხვა ქვეყნისთვის.

🇬🇪🇺🇸 As part of the partnership between the University of Georgia and the American Numismatic Society, the documentation and photography of the Georgian coin collection, as well as the study of archival materials, have been successfully completed under the leadership of Professor David Berikashvili.

⭕ The American Numismatic Society, headquartered in New York, preserves coin collections from various historical periods and regions of the world, including a significant collection of Georgian coins that represent an important part of Georgia’s material, cultural, and historical heritage.

🔎 The project, titled **“Research and Publication of Georgian Coins Preserved in the Collections of the American Numismatic Society,”** is a grant-winning initiative supported by the Scientific Institute of the University of Georgia. Its primary objective is to prepare a comprehensive numismatic catalogue of the Georgian collection.

🌍 Once completed, the catalogue will be made publicly accessible to researchers, scholars, and interested audiences worldwide, contributing to the international promotion of Georgia’s history and strengthening global awareness of the country’s rich cultural heritage.

🇵🇱🇬🇪 2026 წლის 2 ივნისს, პოლონეთის ქალაქ გლივიცაში წარმატებით გაიმართა პირველი საერთაშორისო კონფერენცია - „მდგრადობა და ინოვაცია სამოქალაქო ინჟინერიაში: პერსპექტივები აღმოსავლეთ და ცენტრალური ევროპიდან“.

კონფერენცია ორგანიზებული იყო Silesian University of Technology-ისა და საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტი-ის მიერ და მიზნად ისახავდა სამოქალაქო ინჟინერიაში მდგრადი განვითარების, ინოვაციური ტექნოლოგიებისა და თანამედროვე ინფრასტრუქტურული გადაწყვეტილებების განხილვას.

კონფერენციის სამეცნიერო კომიტეტს ხელმძღვანელობდნენ:

განსაკუთრებით აღსანიშნავია საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტის ხელოვნებისა და ჰუმანიტარულ მეცნიერებათა სკოლის არქიტექტურისა და დიზაინის დეპარტამენტის მნიშვნელოვანი წვლილი პოლონეთისა და საქართველოს აკადემიურ საზოგადოებებს შორის თანამშრომლობის გაღრმავებაში.

🤝 მსგავსი საერთაშორისო ინიციატივები ხელს უწყობს ცოდნის გაზიარებას, სამეცნიერო თანამშრომლობის გაფართოებასა და მდგრადი განვითარების მიმართულებით ახალი იდეების წარმოქმნას.

🇵🇱🇬🇪 On June 2, 2026, the first international conference, “Sustainability and Innovation in Civil Engineering: Perspectives from Eastern and Central Europe,” was successfully held in Gliwice, Poland.

The conference was organized by the Silesian University of Technology and University of Georgia and aimed to discuss sustainable development, innovative technologies, and modern infrastructure solutions in civil engineering.

The Scientific Committee of the conference was chaired by:

🔹 Prof. Tinatin Gudushauri (University of Georgia)

Representatives of the University of Georgia and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia presented their research to an international audience:

📌 27–28 მაისს საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტში გაიმართა 2026 წლის AGUNE QM კონფერენცია - „ხარისხის უზრუნველყოფა ციფრულ ეპოქაში: აკადემიური ღირებულებები, სწავლის შედეგები და ხარისხის უზრუნველყოფის ციფრული ინსტრუმენტები“.

👤 კონფერენციაში მონაწილეობა მიიღო რევაზ ტაბატაძემ - ასოცირებულმა პროფესორმა და საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტის ხელოვნებისა და ჰუმანიტარულ მეცნიერებათა სკოლის ინგლისურენოვანი პროგრამების ხარისხის უზრუნველყოფის მენეჯერმა, რომელმაც მოდერატორის როლი შეასრულა სესიაში: „პრაქტიკიდან სწავლა: ხელოვნური ინტელექტისა და ციფრული ინსტრუმენტების გამოყენება ინსტიტუციური ხარისხის გაუმჯობესებაში“.

👉🏻 ღონისძიებამ ხელი შეუწყო საერთაშორისო გამოცდილების გაზიარებასა და ხარისხის უზრუნველყოფის თანამედროვე მიდგომების განხილვას უმაღლესი განათლების კონტექსტში.

📌 On May 27–28, the 2026 AGUNE QM Conference - “Quality Assurance in the Digital Age: Academic Values, Learning Outcomes, and Digital Tools for Quality Assurance” was held at the University of Georgia.

👤 The conference was attended by Revaz Tabatadze, Associate Professor and Quality Assurance Manager of English-Language Programs at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Georgia, who served as a moderator for the session: “Learning from Practice: The Use of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Tools in Institutional Quality Enhancement.”

👉🏻 The event contributed to the exchange of international experience and the discussion of modern approaches to quality assurance in the context of higher education.

➡️ კონფერენციაზე რევაზ ტაბატაძემ წარადგინა მოხსენება სესიაზე: “International Perspectives on Civics and the Development of Civic Dispositions”.

🇺🇸 As part of the collaboration between the University of Georgia and George Washington University, Revaz Tabatadze, Associate Professor of the School of Arts and Humanities at UG, participated in the 2026 Annual Conference of the American Educational Research Association, which was held in Los Angeles.

➡️ At the conference, Revaz Tabatadze presented a report at the session - International Perspectives on Civics and the Development of Civic Dispositions.

🎓 In addition, the University of Georgia, together with George Washington University, is working on a new joint master's program, which is an important step in the internationalization process of the University of Georgia, which will give students the opportunity to receive education in two academic spaces, develop in a global context and have a competitive qualification that meets international standards.

🤝 In addition, Revaz Tabatadze signed memorandums of understanding with the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education and the UCLA Department of English Language Teaching, which will further strengthen the international academic ties of the University of Georgia.

✅ As part of the visit, Revaz Tabatadze also had meetings with the State University of New Jersey, where new joint research projects were planned.
