🐠 Our little adventurers are continuing to enjoy our Under the Sea theme, especially the story of Tiddler! 🐠

Today, they explored all things underwater through their very own sea-life sensory experience, discovering different textures, colours, and creatures from beneath the waves.

They’ve had a fantastic time using their imaginations and bringing the story to life through play and exploration! 🌊✨

🌿 Forest School Fun for Our Pioneers 🌿

Our Pioneers had a wonderfully busy morning in the forest today! They began by making their very own salt dough before heading off on a nature hunt to collect treasures from around the forest and create beautiful prints in their dough.🌳

Tomorrow, they’ll be decorating and painting their creations, so keep an eye out for the finished masterpieces!🖌️🫟

We can hardly believe this is the last week with some of our older Pioneers before they embark on their next adventure in our new Pathfinders Preschool. ✨

Our Pioneers have been loving The Gruffalo this week! They took a walk through the deep, dark wood and along Number Lane, where they did some incredible counting.🔢

The children enjoyed rolling the dice, carefully counting the number on the dice, before adding that number of purple prickles, to the Gruffalo’s back. 🎲

This fun activity helped develop their counting skills while bringing the story to life.

What a fantastic effort from all of our little Pioneers! We are so proud of them. 🌟🦉📚

Today, while the sun was shining, our Pioneers headed out for a walk around the grounds with the younger children from Nursery. However, this walk was a little different... all of the Pioneers got to bring their bikes and scooters along too!The children had a fantastic time exploring together, developing their confidence and coordination as they rode around the grounds. It was wonderful to see the older children supporting and encouraging the younger ones, creating lots of smiles, laughter, and shared experiences along the way. What a lovely way to enjoy the beautiful weather! ☀️🚴‍♀️🛴🌳

The Eclipse 2026🌓

A Night to Remember

Today has been a busy and exciting day throughout the nursery as we learned all about the 2026 eclipse and why it is such a special moment in history. The children enjoyed exploring this fascinating event and even created their own eclipse glasses to take home, ready to watch the eclipse with their families this evening.🌓👓

What a wonderful day we’ve had in the Explorers outdoor area, with some beautiful butterflies visiting us!

After talking about the Butterfly Countdown over the weekend, we were inspired to create our very own butterflies. We designed and decorated colourful wings, then took them outside to see what happened when the sunshine shone through them. The children loved exploring the different colours and patterns created by the light, making some truly beautiful butterfly creations! 🦋☀️🌈
