Etsy Shop is back open πŸ™Œ Bit of a refocus after moving house. 🏑Reflecting on working a 57hr week for the past 4years, wasn't sustainable, so I'm just going to be making custom orders and having available the 'Nalbinding for Beginners EBook' on Etsy. Along with other limited edition bits that I bring together.
Very privileged to be able to run an artefact lab and collections room as my day job. But I think cutting myself a bit of a break is fair and reasonable right? After my hard work paid off, I bought a house! 😊 So will be treating Nidavellnir as a more bespoke heritage craft specialist, rather than trying to compete with mass produced/curated products.Going back to my roots, of the unique, historic and artful approach. Hope you enjoy it.πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘Now, where did I put my Nalbinding needle 🀣🧢πŸͺ‘🧢

Hello Everyone πŸ‘‹ I know I go off-grid and quiet for a bit on here.πŸƒ However, for the next 2months, I have some big life-changing things happening, that I need to make space and time for. πŸ™So the Etsy shop is on holiday mode, and no custom orders for now sorry.. until everythings all ship-shape. Won't say too much now, but will do an update soon. Nothing nasty, or scary, just allot to sort out. πŸ‘

As always, thanks so much for all your likes, follows and support. Appreciate all of You πŸ˜πŸ’šπŸ™

Hello Everyone πŸ‘‹

Well, its been a busy 4 months making these very special 4 red-nissa-nalbound hats for a special customer. Here's a little sneak-peak. Today, they were lovingly parcelled up and sent on their way to the USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ˜€
Really pleased with how they have turned out, and I was mega happy to find some gorgeous bronze 'sleigh-bells' for the tails, to go with the super soft red wool. πŸŽ…πŸ»

I hope you have many joyous moments with them πŸ™πŸͺ‘🧢

What to make next? πŸ€”πŸ€£

Hello Everyone πŸ‘‹

It's that time of year again folks, where I'm off for the month of May doing my day job, as an archaeological Finds Officer with the undergraduate fieldschool. Teaching students all the varied joys of field archaeology, as well as being the resident Finds Specialist onsite. Its looking to be a great season! πŸΊβ›πŸ”Ž

Etsy shop is on a 'makers-break' so any orders placed will be dispatched in early June. Still bimbling through custom orders. But you know where I am if you have any questions.

Have a great day! 🌞🌿🌱🌾

Hey Folks πŸ‘‹ been AWOL for a bit, as I had a lovely break over Easter seeing family. Now fully back into it at the day job, getting ready for our yearly Archaeology Fieldschool with throughout all of May.🏺

So popped my Etsy Shop on a Makers break, which means you can still order things, just won't be dispatched until beginning of June.

But currently bimbling on with a lovely custom order ❀ I'm here, just emphasis on the of as I've got allot of other things going on at the moment too. So to be able to pace myself and get through what is turning out to be an exciting year! 😁
