I have taught across the primary curriculum from Nursery and Reception to Year 6. Working with children is a priviledge and providing opportunities for them to make connections and have those ‘lightbulb’ moments are essential to encourage that life long love of learning.

Good luck to everyone who is taking the SATs and the families supporting them. I know that everyone will have worked their socks off in preparation for this week. No matter what happens or what the results are, remember, you are so much more than a score.

First day back for a lot of children today. I know my own kids struggled this morning with the early get up and starting the routine again.
Hoping everyone had a smooth start back and ready for the new term ahead.

Half term is here! It's been such a long half term, especially for those just starting school. I hope everyone manages to have a rest next week and enjoy any Halloween celebrations! 👻🎃

It's that time of year again where we're receiving emails and letters about booking a time slot for parents evening. I always feel a sense of nervous excitement when going in. Have they settled in well? Have they got friends? What can we do to help?
Lizzy Hugill Tutoring is an option if you want to help support your child with school but not sure where to start. Sessions range from 30-45mins, depending on the age, and help build their confidence in their own abilities.
