Good luck to everyone who is taking the SATs and the families supporting them. I know that everyone will have worked their socks off in preparation for this week. No matter what happens or what the results are, remember, you are so much more than a score.
Wishing everyone the best for next week and ready to party on Friday! ππ

Happy New Year from Lizzy Hugill Teaching and Tutoring π
First day back for a lot of children today. I know my own kids struggled this morning with the early get up and starting the routine again.
Hoping everyone had a smooth start back and ready for the new term ahead.
If you feel your child might need a little bit more time to understand a new concept or there are so many steps to follow and everything is becoming muddled, please don't hesitate to message me. I am happy to share more information about tutoring spaces or to just listen and give some friendly advice π

Last session completed before the Christmas holidays. A really positive session and so pleased with how my student is doing.
Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year! ββοΈπ²π

Half term is here! It's been such a long half term, especially for those just starting school. I hope everyone manages to have a rest next week and enjoy any Halloween celebrations! π»π

It's that time of year again where we're receiving emails and letters about booking a time slot for parents evening. I always feel a sense of nervous excitement when going in. Have they settled in well? Have they got friends? What can we do to help?
Lizzy Hugill Tutoring is an option if you want to help support your child with school but not sure where to start. Sessions range from 30-45mins, depending on the age, and help build their confidence in their own abilities.
If you would like any more information or have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me on here or through my contacts in the original post π

Living in Rawcliffe, York, I am a locally based qualified teacher with 11 years of experience. I have taught across the primary curriculum from Nursery and Reception to Year 6.
With 2 small children at home, I wanted to spend more time with my family but also support and tutor children who might need a little bit of extra time out of the classroom to secure their understanding of a topic.
Please don't hesitate to contact me below, by email or by phone. I am happy to answer any questions or queries you might have :)
