Our sustainability-related York Interdisciplinary Modules (YIMs) are still open for applications.

These award-winning elective modules are a great opportunity for you to explore sustainability beyond your degree programme and develop interdisciplinary skills for a changing world. This includes the Sustainability Clinic; Sustainability and Policy; Future of Food; and Just and Equitable Nature-based Solutions.

Applications for 2026–27 accommodation are now open

New undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply now. Apply by 31 July (5pm BST) as a full-time student (UK or international) and, if you meet the criteria, you’ll be guaranteed a room offer.
