The group is funded almost entirely by fees and the fund-raising efforts of members. Edward's Playgroup is part of the Pre-School Learning Alliance (PLA) which is a national organisation which exists to promote parental involvement in the development of children in community settings. We are supported by the York branch of the PLA and work closely with the City of York Council Social Services Department and Under Eights Adviser. We are a member of the Dringhouses Early Years Partnership and work in conjunction with Dringhouses School and other local pre-school providers.

There will be a few changes over the next few months. After Easter we will become a creche offering limited hours whilst our current home is going through building work. We will return to the church hall in the autumn term. We will keep you updated of all the developments. If you have any questions please contact us.

In the next few weeks we will be looking at our pets. We would like it if the children can bring in pictures of any pets at home or their favourite soft toy. We will be displaying these on our board. Thank you.
