Bishopthorpe Pre-School Playgroup

12/07/2026

At Bishopthorpe Preschool, the outdoors is an extension of our classroom.

Our children enjoy access to:
🌳 Our dedicated Forest School
🌲 Private woodland to explore and discover
⚽ A large playing field for running, games and adventure
🛝 A spacious playground for climbing, riding and imaginative play

Whether we're building dens, hunting for bugs, developing physical skills or simply enjoying the fresh air, our outdoor spaces inspire curiosity, confidence and a love of learning every single day.

We believe some of the best learning happens outside—and we're lucky to have so much space for our children to explore, play and thrive. 💚

Interested in seeing it for yourself? We'd love to welcome you for a visit!

Why this parent chose Bishopthorpe Pre-School for their daughter...

'We LOVE Pre-School and couldn't think of a better place to send our daughter. It really is perfect, the unlimited access to great outdoor space and the experience of the team were the key things for us. Our son also attended, and left more than ready for school - key first steps in education in place as well as an amazing transition surrounded by all his friends."
