We are seeking two exceptional educators to join our growing School:
✅ Senior Lecturer in Architecture Design & Technology
✅ Lecturer in Architecture History & Theory
Based in one of the UK’s most historic architectural settings, these roles offer the opportunity to contribute to a developing curriculum and a vibrant research culture.

The next evening lecture in the YSAxYAA series!
We are delighted to be hosted by the team at PJLivesey at The Retreat, in their beautiful recreational hall. Set within one of York’s most distinctive heritage sites, the setting provides a fitting backdrop for an evening of reflection and forward thinking.
Three engaging local practices will share their work, framed around lessons learned in practice and how these experiences can inform and inspire the next generation of architects. From navigating early career challenges to shaping resilient, thoughtful design approaches, the discussion promises insight, honesty and practical wisdom.
Open to students, practitioners and the public, this is an opportunity to connect across year groups and stages of practice, strengthening the dialogue between education and the profession.
