Beehive Preschool Playgroup

Here are some photographs of our refurbished playroom, which we began developing in the autumn term. The team has worked incredibly hard to enhance the different areas of provision, creating a more engaging and supportive environment for the children.

The children have responded very positively to the new space and have been highly engaged in their play and learning. I have also included pictures of our sensory room, which has become another very popular area. This space has played an important role in supporting children with their emotions, providing a calming and nurturing environment when they need it.

Over the last few months we’ve been really busy having lots of fun!

We have been super busy since we last posted!

We hosted our Easter Fundraiser. It was lovely to see our families supporting our Fundraiser and enjoying themselves.

Our children have been Busy bees. Learning about Spring, Growth,Decay and changes over time. Learning about animals and we even went out to visit our local library.

Wow haven't we been busy since we last shared our adventures on here!

We created firework pictures in November and made edible sparklers to eat! 🎆

We used lots of glitter to get into the Christmas spirit,and created many Christmas crafts! We had a lovely festive get together with all our families past and present. We ended the year with our Christmas parties, a special visitor came to see us all 🎅

We have welcomed many new families to Beehive. 🐝

In January and February we have been learning about winter and being kind to each other. The children have really enjoyed playing with the mud and vehicles. ❄️ 🫂 🚗

We have welcomed current and new children back to Beehive since September and have been Busy Bees!

Our topic has been 'All About Me' so we have been learning all about each other. The children have enjoyed playing with all our activities.

Our new Sensory Room is now open! The children have enjoyed exploring all the new toys in this room.

It has been a while since we posted on here! We have been super busy at Beehive! Here are some photos of our successful summer fundraiser. It was a lovely day many past and present families came!

We are looking forward to welcoming our current and new families to Beehive next week. The staff have been working hard on preparing Beehive for the children.

We have been super busy! We have learnt all about winter and the different clothing we wear. We have been learning about spring, farm animal names and their babies. We have celebrated Easter and ended our term with an Easter fundraiser. It was lovely to see many of our families there.

Here are a selection of photographs for you to see what our children have enjoyed doing throughout last half term!

The children really enjoyed focusing on the stories 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' and 'Dear Zoo.'

We ended the term with learning all about Christmas! The children had a great time joining in with all the festive activities on offer 🙂.

What a lovely first half of the Autumn term we had.

The first topic of the academic year was 'All About Me.' The children painted their own 'Mini Me' figures. Some children created their own person, which was then displayed on the wall. We looked at ourselves in mirrors and learnt about similarities and differences between us.

We then moved on to learning all about Autumn and the changes that happen. Take a look at our Autumn tree, with many different coloured leaves on there! The children also created a Autumn wreath too. They have loved collecting leaves in the garden!

We ended the term reading 'Winnie The Witch' stories. Take a look at our display!

Last we had a Bring And Share Halloween tea party. It was lovely to see many past and present families there.

The team worked really hard over the summer preparing Beehive for the children's return/arrival. The team were excited to welcome new and old families too or back to Beehive 🙂.

We've had a great first half term, we can't believe there is only one more week left! Time flys when you are having fun and we sure have a lot of this at Beehive 🙂.
