Welcome Nurseries The Village Pre-school

Good evening,

Just wanted to make everybody aware of the changes to the team come September.

Amelia will continue to room lead the pre schoolers alongside Sadie and Stacey will room lead the toddlers. There will be a new deputy and a new manager in September.

We are saying goodbye to our Deputy manager Alisha and Manager Katie in September.

Alisha has had just over a year at the nursery and has made some close bonds with the children and has been the most incredible SENCO anybody could ask for.

Katie has been at the nursery for 5 and a half years starting out as an apprentice working her way up to the managers position. She has also made some amazing bonds with the children along the years and will thoroughly miss being part of the village pre school team.

We cant wait to introduce the new management team to you all in the next few weeks and we still do have holiday clubs to look forward to with the girls in the summer.

Today our deputy manager Alisha is fundraising for the charity Children with Cancer UK which is the charity she will run the Great North Run for in September.

Thank you to everybody that’s taking part to help with her fundraising and there will be a little bake sale and a chance to buy a gift bag with different prizes in! This will be at 3:45pm today once all children have been picked up.

🌊 World Oceans Day 🌊

For world Ocean day we’ve been busy busy! Making jelly fish junk modelling and our own sea animals 🐠

We have spoke about pollution with some of the older children which led to talk about recycling which will be our next learning topic! ♻️

🌸Act Of Kindness Day 2🌸

We visited the city centre today to drop off some more act of kindness gifts to two ladies that work at The Golden Fleece!
