We help support families find creative ways to get active together in a way that feels comfortable for them.

Helping with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

During this course you will explore the range and breadth of SEND conditions. You will develop your knowledge and understanding needed to support children with SEND in a mainstream school. You will study and discuss legislation, policy and guidance related to SEND and the structures that support this in schools. You will also research a SEND topic of your choice and present this work to the group as well as undertaking assessed work. You will compile a portfolio of evidence of your learning that will prepare and support you for a paid or voluntary role in a school setting with children and young people.

One final event for our wonderful project funded by and Sport England

This Saturday at New Earswick Nature Reserve

10am - 3pm (note this is not a drop in we would welcome you to stay all day as places are very limited)

This final event is supported by Society and we want to tell you all about the family walk which we co-created.

Book your event here, read our newsletter and download your free walk in advance. There will be some paper copies on the day.

Come and try lens ball photography with Trevor and for every family who actively takes part in his workshop you can take a lens ball home with you.

Don't forget your family picnic and to wrap up warm!
