We hope to see some new faces at the East Coker PTFA AGM meeting tonight. It's at East Coker Primary School from 7pm, in the main hall! Two parents of Owls Class sit on the committee - so some faces you might already know 🥰 You can see the agenda on the PTFA page.

✨TODAY✨️

The uniform sales will be held in Willows room, just next to Owls Class. Everything from jumpers and cardigans, to grey uniform and Summer dresses. Cash only please.

✨️UNIFORM SALES TOMORROW✨️

Due to a large number of requests, we will be holding a second hand uniform sale tomorrow after school. This will be held in the Willow room (by Owls Class) from 3.30pm.

Cash only please, suggested donations are between 50p and £2 per item. We have jumpers, cardigans, some grey items, Summer dresses and so much more! 🛍🛍

There is also a huge amount of lost property collecting, so please take a look if you're missing uniform.

We hope everyone has had a fabulous first day at East Coker Primary School and made some new friends.

Hopefully everyone went home with their new book bag - a huge thank you to our East Coker PTFA for funding these ❤️

There was a note on the classroom today, asking all children to wear their PE kit tomorrow.

We're all really looking forward to this! We hope to see as many of our new families as possible - join in the celebrations this evening. East Coker Primary School from 6-8pm ☀️

Today is the day!! The sun is shining and everything is coming together ☀️☀️

A couple of things to remember:

💵 Cash only, you can get money out from the Post Office on the corner of Sandhurst Road/West Coker Road (closes at 5pm)
🎟 Raffle tickets are still on sale until the draw - check out our recent posts to see some of the AMAZING prizes we have this year
🍔 We have a delicious BBQ and well stocked bar ready and waiting - so have dinner with us
🧸 Drop your unwanted/outgrown toys and books to school today, for the toy stall
🌻 Plants are still welcome for the plant stall
🧁 Donations are also welcome of yummy cakes, bakes and treats

We look forward to seeing you all at 6pm!! ☀️☀️

This year's Summer Fair will be held on Friday 27 June, from 6-8pm at East Coker Primary School.

Our biggest fundraiser of the year, we're excited to celebrate with you all. We'll have:
☀️ Bouncy castles
☀️ Year 6 stalls
☀️ Face painting
☀️ Tombola
☀️ Raffle
☀️ Hot and cold food
☀️ Bar

We cannot host this event without your help!! There's lots of ways you can support us, so please let us know if you can help with...
🤹‍♂️ On the day volunteering - set up, hosting stalls, packing away
🧸 Donations of toys, books, baked goods, w**e bottles (empty & full!!) and plants for stalls
🎟 Gifts from local businesses for our hugely-popular raffle...

We'll be meeting at The Helyar Arms on Wednesday 4 June from 6pm to continue planning - everyone is welcome to join us! 🥂

We have our Welcome Evening in a couple of weeks time. Come and find out more about our taster sessions and starting school this September.

East Coker Primary School has organised some new Wellbeing Cafe dates - a chance to meet other parents and friends of the school, ask questions and get to know the school, with drinks and cake too!

Our lovely East Coker PTFA will also be attending!

The next date is: Wednesday 30 April, from 2-3pm.

Hello and welcome!!

Congratulations on getting your little one's space at East Coker Primary School. Over the next few weeks and months, you'll receive information from school about your child's place, settling in sessions, resources, groups & support for preparing your child for starting school.

In the meantime, please feel free to chat, ask questions and share advice for each other - parents and children! 📚🍎
