🦉❤️International Owl Awareness Day ❤️🦉
As it’s International Owl Awareness Day, we thought we’d take this opportunity to share why we do what we do.
My love for owls began 17 years ago, and ever since then I’ve had a passion for sharing just how incredible these beautiful birds really are. I feel incredibly lucky to do that every single day.
One of the best parts of what we do is seeing the way people respond to our owls. Whether it’s the joy and comfort they bring to the elderly, the excitement and curiosity they spark in children, or the emotions they evoke in so many people, it’s something that never gets old.
We’ve even met plenty of people who were nervous around owls at first, only to leave with a whole new appreciation for them. There’s just something special about an owl. 🦉❤️
The welfare of our birds will always come first. We are committed to giving them the very best care we possibly can, from their housing and nutrition to their enrichment, flying and veterinary care.
Now we’d love to hear from you!
❤️Do you have a favourite memory of meeting our owls?
🦉 Which owl stole your heart?
✨ How did your experience make you feel?
Share your memories with us in the comments. We’d love to read them!
…and there’s one more exciting introduction still to come, so keep an eye out for tomorrow’s post! 👀🦉
