🌿 A beautiful day of exploring, learning and making memories at Kids Planet Canal House!

As part of our 1,000 Little Adventures challenge, the children headed outdoors with their clipboards to explore the wonderful world of butterflies! 🦋

They watched them up close, talked about what they could see and discovered more about the natural world around them. It was a lovely opportunity to learn through real-life experiences while encouraging curiosity, communication and confidence.

Little adventures like this help children connect with nature, ask questions and discover something new, all while creating special memories together. 💚

Funded Childcare Reminder ⏰

If you're hoping to use funded hours from September 2026, make sure your application is completed by 31st August 2026.

Eligible working parents may be able to access up to 30 funded hours a week, while all 3 and 4-year-olds are eligible for 15 funded hours, regardless of whether their parents are working.

We are so proud of our little graduates! 🎓❤️

From first steps and first friendships to new discoveries, favourite activities and plenty of fun, every child’s journey through nursery and pre-school is full of moments worth celebrating.

Whether they’ve been with us from the very beginning or joined us along the way, we’ve loved being part of their journey and watching them grow into the wonderful little people they are today.

Graduation is a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate how far they’ve come and create even more special memories along the way. We hope they enjoyed every moment of their special day!

🎓 Graduation season at Kids Planet!

Over the past few weeks, our nurseries have been celebrating our Pre-School children as they prepare for their next big step into school.
Throughout their time with us, our teams have supported them as they’ve grown in confidence, developed their independence and built the skills they need for school and beyond.

From graduation ceremonies and parties to special activities and keepsakes, our teams have put lots of thought and care into making these celebrations special for children and their families.

🌈🎨On Wednesday we celebrated World Art Day here at Kids Planet Wythenshawe with an art exhibition showcasing the children's creativity and celebrating their individuality! Families came into the setting to celebrate their children and their artwork supporting children's confidence and sense of self, celebrating their achievements!

Many of our children took part in making handprints for our rainbow and lots of families sent in photos of children being creative at home taking part in baking, crafts, imaginative play and lots more as part of our 'Homegrown Creativity section. The children worked very hard on their art pieces and each room also focused on a project together focusing on team work and group participation! We couldn't be prouder of you all! Thankyou again to the parents and children who joined us🤍
