I now have availability to tutor Biology, Chemistry and Physics via online sessions to a new student starting August/September. If you live in the Wymondham area, I can also do in-person sessions during school holidays to supplement the online sessions.

About me:
I am an experienced and passionate secondary school Science teacher and tutor, gaining Qualified Teacher Status in 2017. I have a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Loughborough University and an MA in Education from The Open University.
I have confidently taught AQA and Edexcel GCSE exam specifications to Triple Science level in Biology, Chemistry and Physics at two state schools in Norfolk and Suffolk. I confidently tutor up to Grade 9 in Triple Sciences and have previously taught students who have achieved these top grades and taken Sciences further on their education journey. I have also helped students to achieve Grades 4, 5 or 6s, that they require for further study. I have experience in teaching Chemistry and Physics at A-Level (AQA specification).
I hold an enhanced DBS check as part of my teaching role and I'm on the DBS update service. I enjoy helping students achieve their goals and gain confidence in Science.
What I can offer:
My tutoring sessions start with a recap of previous learning, then we move on to new content followed by addressing common misconceptions that students often stumble on. We then tackle some worked examples and I coach students through challenging exam questions. Feedback is immediate, comprehensive and personalised, helping students to gain confidence.
I deliver a professional and compassionate approach to tutoring and I am experienced in helping students to make progress and improve their confidence in Science.

My best availability is Wednesday evenings during term time for online sessions and I have a good degree of flexibility for in-person sessions in the school holidays. I have experience in tutoring from Year 7 up to Year 11.
