Please have a chat with your child and ask them:

📱 Do you enjoy using digital devices?
🌟 Would you like to learn new digital skills?
🧙 Would you like to become a Digital Wizard and help other pupils and staff around school with all things digital, technology and online?

If they think this sounds like something they’d enjoy, encourage them to come and see Mrs Baynham to collect an application

🏆 We’ve Done It Again! 🏆

We are absolutely delighted to share that we have once again won the Decorated Wheelbarrow Competition at the Royal Welsh Show!

This fantastic achievement would not have been possible without the hard work, creativity, and support of our wonderful school community. A huge thank you to Mrs Jones and Mrs Rees for all their dedication, time, and effort in bringing the project together. Your hard work has truly paid off!

We would also like to thank all of our pupils and families for their amazing contributions, including the beautiful wooden peg people, which helped make our wheelbarrow display so special.

And finally, a very special thank you to Jenna for all of her help, support, and encouragement throughout the project.

We are incredibly proud of everyone involved and thrilled to bring the trophy home once again. Well done, Team Newbridge-on-Wye!

As we reach the end of another busy and successful school year, we would like to wish all of our pupils and their families a wonderful, safe and relaxing summer break.

This year has been filled with learning, achievement, growth and memorable experiences. We are incredibly proud of all that our pupils have accomplished and grateful for the support of our families throughout the year.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated staff team for their hard work, commitment and care. Their passion and determination make a real difference every day and help ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our governors and Friends of the School for their continued support, encouragement and generosity. Your contributions play a vital role in helping our school community succeed.

As a school, we continue to develop and grow, always striving to provide the very best education and opportunities for all of our pupils. We are excited about the future and look forward to building on this year's successes together.

Every school has that one person who makes everyone feel welcome, supported and cared for. For us, that person has been our wonderful School Secretary and Lunchtime Supervisor, Sue Humphreys.

After seven incredible years, Sue will be leaving Newbridge-on-Wye C.I.W. School to begin an exciting new chapter. Her kindness, warmth and unwavering dedication have made a lasting difference to our staff, pupils and families. She has been at the heart of our school community, and it simply won’t be the same without her.

On behalf of our governors, staff, pupils and families, thank you, Sue, for everything you have done. We wish you every happiness and success in your new role.
