🎃👻 Halloween Half Term is coming… and we’re getting ready for some spooky kitchen fun! 👻🎃

We’re really looking forward to our Halloween Cooking Workshop this October half term, packed with cooking, decorating, crafts and plenty of Halloween fun! 🕷️🧙‍♀️

Children will get to make, bake and decorate a spooky selection of Halloween biscuits, as well as enjoy some fun Halloween crafts including making a scary mask, creating their own mummy and personalising a Halloween bag. 🎨🍪

And of course… best dressed wins a prize! 🏆🎃

🌮A taste of Mexico at Cook Stars Academy!

Last Friday our Academy chefs had a fantastic time making delicious tacos and chicken quesadillas from scratch! 😋

There was plenty of chopping, grating, seasoning, sizzling and, of course, tasting along the way. 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

Today we wrapped up our final workshop of the summer holidays, but the fun isn’t over yet… 🎃👻

Our next workshop will be Halloween themed! Can you guess what spooky creations we might be making? 👀🕷️

🍂 The new school year is almost here! 🍂

With just a few days to go, we’re all set and ready for another fantastic term of cooking at Cook Stars South Gloucestershire! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳⭐

We have a great selection of after-school clubs and community classes running throughout the week, plus we’ve introduced a new 4:45pm start time for our Wednesday Minis & Juniors class at Turnberrie’s Community Centre – making it easier for children to join us after their school clubs and activities. 😊

Cooking is such a brilliant life skill for children to learn, while also building confidence, independence and, most importantly, having lots of fun along the way! 🥣🍪🍕

After all the fun we had making our Ice Cream Cone Cakes last week, we’re already getting excited for our next Minis & Juniors workshop!

Join us on Thursday 27th August at 10am at 's Community Centre for a delicious Chocolate Truffle Workshop ✨

The children will be mixing, rolling and coating their own chocolate truffles, with plenty of fun along the way plus crafts and a recipe card to take home too! 😋

What a delicious workshop we had this week! 🍦🧁

Our Minis & Juniors had so much fun making their very own Ice Cream Cone Cakes from mixing and baking to piping and decorating with plenty of colourful sprinkles and chocolate! 🌈🍫

They all looked absolutely amazing, and we loved seeing everyone’s creations come together. ⭐

And there are only 5 days to go until our next workshop, where we’ll be making delicious Chocolate Truffles! 🍫

🍣 We’re finishing our summer Academy workshops in style with a taste of Japan!

What better way to end the summer holidays than with an amazing Japanese cooking workshop? Our teens will be making sushi, Yakisoba noodles and quick-pickled vegetables, while learning lots of brilliant cooking skills along the way. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Korean cooking was on the menu at our Academy workshop last week! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our teens got stuck into making some amazing fried chicken, sticky rice and pickled cucumbers learning lots of great kitchen skills along the way and creating some seriously tasty food! 😋

Next week, we’re heading to another country for our final Academy workshop of the summer holidays… 🌏

🍣 We’ll be making sushi and a few other delicious dishes can you guess which country’s food we’ll be cooking next? 😊
