🇪🇸 Meet Claire – Our new KS3 Spanish Tutor! 🇪🇸

I’m so excited to welcome Claire to the Freedom to Thrive team, where she’ll be leading our KS3 Spanish sessions from this autumn! 💚

Claire is passionate about making language learning engaging, practical and enjoyable. Her lessons are designed to help young people build confidence in communicating in Spanish through interactive activities, real-life conversation and cultural exploration, creating a relaxed environment where every learner feels encouraged to have a go.

At Freedom to Thrive, we love working with tutors who share our belief that learning should be inspiring, confidence-building and accessible to every child. I know our learners are going to benefit enormously from Claire’s enthusiasm and supportive approach.

What a brilliant morning at our Summer Keep in Touch Sessions! 💚

Some of our older learners spent the morning combining Art and Creative Writing, letting their imaginations run wild as they created and wrote together, while our younger group had an absolute blast developing their confidence, coordination and teamwork through Circus Skills 🎨✍️🎪

One of the things we are going to love most about these sessions is seeing friendships continue to grow over the summer holidays. They give our young people the chance to stay connected, try something new and simply enjoy being together in a relaxed, supportive environment.

There were so many smiles, so much laughter and plenty of creativity on display today - it really was wonderful. 🥰

A huge thank you to our fantastic tutors for making it so special, and to all the families who joined us. We can’t wait for the next one! 💚

As part of our brand-new Enterprise, Practical Skills & Guest Workshops at Freedom to Thrive, we’re looking to collaborate with passionate local businesses, tradespeople, creatives and professionals who would love to share their skills with our amazing young people.

Our weekly workshops take place on Mondays from 1:00–2:00pm and are designed to give home-educated learners aged 11–16 the opportunity to explore real-world skills, careers and future possibilities.

🎪 Meet Kate! 🎪

I’m so excited to introduce the wonderful Kate from Poi Passion, who will be leading our Circus Skills sessions this September at Freedom to Thrive.

I’ve known Kate for many years, and when it comes to circus skills, there truly isn’t anyone else I’d rather have working with our young people.

Having grown up in the circus, Kate brings a lifetime of knowledge, experience and passion to every session. She’s an incredibly talented performer and teacher, but more importantly, she’s kind, encouraging and has the amazing ability to make every child feel capable of trying something new.

As a fellow home-educating mum, Kate also understands the importance of creating environments where children can learn through curiosity, movement and play.

One thing that’s really important to me at Freedom to Thrive is surrounding our learners with people who are not only exceptional at what they do, but who genuinely care about children. I hand-pick every tutor because I want our families to learn from the very best and Kate is exactly that.

We can’t wait for our learners to experience the fun, confidence and sense of achievement that Circus Skills brings this September! 🎪💚

Whilst many of our learners attend full-day programmes, we understand that every family is different.

For this reason, we keep a limited number of spaces available in selected sessions for families who wish to access individual classes on a more flexible basis.

✨ Freedom Choir: £10

Flexi spaces are subject to availability and are offered once full-day bookings have been allocated.
