Fabulous inspiration from the Artisan Design Team

Backgrounds took centre stage for the Be Inspired Team Blog and Instagram Hops this month, and I had so much fun creating my own background.

This background was created by stamping out the Echoes of Details again and again in Smoky Slate ink, then blended round the edges for extra depth.

The focal flower is the Sweetly Sentimental Stamp Set, coloured with Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends, finished with a hot foiled sentiment for a touch of shine.

Today is the first of two posts from me. First up I am sharing the new Global Design Project Sketch Challenge for this week. for my card I have used a new stamp set called Sweetly Sentimental, which can be purchased as part of a Hot Foil Bundle, but can also be purchased and used as a stand alone set too. I have heat embossed the large flower in white and watercoloured with Crisp Cantaloupe and Granny Apple Green Inks, once dry I cut this into the four sections to create the tiled effect.

Class is taking place this coming Sat 1st Aug at Haskins Garden Centre from 1030-1300. There is a lovely restaurant with lots of choices of food if you wanted to stay for lunch after the class.

We will be making three cards using this beautiful Pretty Poinsettia bundle.
