The WSSA Girls Football Competition was held at the home of Worthing FC on Tuesday giving the girls a chance to experience playing inside a football stadium. The team performed incredibly well winning their first 2 matches against The Vale and TAB (with multiple goals from Addie) before getting a draw with Goring which put them top of their group without conceding a goal.
Into the semi-finals against Elm Grove which was a very close match with both teams having chances to score but at full time it ended 0-0, two sets of extra time followed by still no goals so it went to the dreaded penalty shootout. Alice made some great saves in goal but it wasn't enough to send us through to the final. The team had to settle for joint third with The Orchards - they came away proud of their performances and completely unbeaten during the event.

Some of our KS1 pupils attended the WSSA Rugby Skills Festival last week - they worked on a variety of different activities led by some Y6 leaders including tagging, passing, kicking and running with the rugby ball. All had a great experience showing off different skills.

A few images from yesterday to show a glimpse of the fun we have had in Bristol. Za Za Bazaar was a huge success and the ‘calm’ walk afterwards turned into a silent disco and then a conga!

After breakfast, the journey home starts, via Stonehenge. We will see you later 😀
