✨ ONE YEAR ✨

Today marks one whole year since I announced my venture and welcomed initial enquiries and what a year it has been! 🥹📚

I’m so grateful to every family who has trusted me with their children, recommended me to others, shared my posts and supported my little business along the way. I am so proud of this lovely community of Little Learner’s that I have built.

Here’s to one year and everything still to come! 🥂✨

✨ Introducing the new home of The Little Learning Room! ✨

After lots of planning and hard work (mainly from my husband) over the last few months, I’m so excited to finally introduce our new learning space! 🏡📚✨

This space has been created to be a calm, welcoming and fun environment where children can learn, build confidence, play, explore and, most importantly, enjoy learning 💕

And a huge thank you to Dan, who has worked incredibly hard to build this space for me between working his day job. There has been a lot of pressure from myself and lots of lovely little faces, who have been keen to enjoy the new space 👦🏼👧🏽

I’ve been so grateful to see a huge increase in enquiries and enrolments from home educating families recently. It’s been amazing to see how many families are choosing a home education journey that works for them and their children.

🏴‍☠️ Back to learning! ⚓️

Our first group session back was a pirate-themed maths adventure, starting with 2-digit addition and moving on to addition with a decimal place.

Using Base 10 concrete resources, one learner was able to see the maths in a way that finally made sense to him. And the result…

“I’ve done it! I can’t believe I’ve just done that by myself with no help!”

Sometimes it’s simply about finding the right way to unlock the curriculum and allowing a child to access learning in a way they understand ✨

Wishing all of my wonderful learners a very happy first week back at school! I hope you all have a lovely time settling into your new year groups, seeing your friends and getting back into the school routine. I can’t wait to hear all about it! 💕

If your child is returning to school feeling unsure, lacking confidence or finding a particular area of learning tricky, I still have a few spaces available in my small group sessions. These sessions are designed to make learning fun, supportive and confidence-building, whilst helping children strengthen those key skills they need in the classroom. 🌟

I also have availability for home education sessions for families looking to add a little more structure, support and fun to their home learning routine.

It’s been so lovely to welcome so many familiar faces, as well as some new learners, and to see everyone continuing to learn, grow and have fun throughout the summer!✨
