We’re gearing up to keep you fuelled with some tasty treats this weekend! 😋

Homemade sausage rolls and cakes will be available (while stocks last 😉), along with drinks and a selection of sweets. 🍰🍬☕

Our fabulous YELAS will be lending a hand, so be sure to give them a smile and a big thank you! 😊

🐴Our mini riders are getting competition ready! 💜

Our fabulous mini riders have been brushing up on their skills at a dressage badge rally, getting ready for our dressage competition this Sunday! 🐎✨

We love seeing their confidence grow as they learn, practise and have fun along the way! 🥰

🐴 South Notts Dressage Results 🏆

A great day of dressage for our members at South Notts! 🌟

🥉 Grove’s Oliver Nunn came home with 3rd place in the Novice PC90.
🥇🥉 Millie Hobart took home a 1st and 3rd place with her two rides in the PC70.
🥈 Brooke Adams grabbed 2nd place in the LR Walk Trot.

🌟 AREA 6 WINTER SHOW JUMPING LEAGUE 2026/27 🌟

What is the Winter Show Jumping League?

The league runs from October to April, with participating competitions hosted by different Pony Club branches across Area 6.

There is no separate registration and members do not have to be selected—simply enter one of the participating competitions and you will automatically collect league points for your placing.

Points are awarded to each horse-and-rider combination:

🥇 1st — 10 points
🥈 2nd — 8 points
🥉 3rd — 6 points
4th — 4 points
5th — 3 points
6th — 2 points
Unplaced completion — 1 point

Combinations must compete at three or more participating league competitions to qualify for the final individual placings.

Every point earned by a Scunthorpe member also contributes towards Scunthorpe & District’s overall Branch League total—so every round really does count! 💙

Please enter your pony under exactly the same name at each competition to ensure all your points are recorded under the correct combination.

Congratulations to the UK PCIA Quiz team for their success on Saturday, coming away with a very close second place!

The PCIA Quiz brings together the best of Member knowledge from the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States. Whether the teams are identifying conformation issues, identifying historical equestrians or advising on equine nutrition, each Member has spent countless hours putting in the preparation.

Congratulations to Isabella, Olivia, Ella and Abi, and thank you to team manager Amelia Morris-Payne for coaching the team to success!
