Moo Music Worksop is a music group for 0-5 years old's, where we sing, play & learn. 🥁

The Moo room is a welcoming, warm and truly safe space for parents/ caregivers to enjoy quality 1-1 time with their children and meet likeminded adults. Becca & Becky (otherwise known as, Farmer Becca & Becky) have a combined 21 years of experience in children development as qualified primary school teachers. At Moo Music Worksop, we offer 3 unique groups tailored to the various development stages of under 5's, each week, Tuesday - Friday:

🐣 Baby Moo - Newborn to pre-crawlers
👶🏽 Mini Moo - Crawling to wobbly walkers
👩‍👧‍👦 Mixed Moo - Walking to 4 years (younger symbols welcome)

Worksop and Carlton-in-Lindrick families, ever wondered exactly what’s on offer at Moo Music? Here’s the full picture.

From Baby Moo right through to Mixed Moo, there’s a class for every stage, from 6 weeks all the way to school-ready.

And throughout the year, our seasonal parties bring music, craft, a keepsake, a gift and a photo moment for the whole family.

Whatever stage you and your little one are at, there’s a place for you here.

Baby Moo is for you. 👶🐮

It’s for babies from 6 weeks, right up until they’re on the move. And for the grown ups who could do with somewhere to be.

This winter there are six weeks of themes including:
🎇Bonfire Night
🚗 Terrific Transport
🎅 Dear Santa.
🧝 Elf Academy

Songs, sensory play, a bit of calm & lots of fun in the run up to Christmas. 🎄

Every class is bespoke.

🤩 Wide awake and taking it all in? We follow that.
😴 Sleepy and happiest being held close? That works too.
🍼 Feeding, changing, settling. Whenever your baby needs it.

What changes after six weeks?
💜 A week with something in it.
💜 Faces you know by name.
💜 A baby who’s heard the same songs often enough to start recognising them.

Baby Moo runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, w/c 2nd November to w/e 11th December, £57 for the block.

🐘🦒DEAR ZOO🦒🐘

This week we wrote to the Zoo & asked them to send us a pet - they didn’t quite get it right!

Worksop and Carlton-in-Lindrick families, if you missed this week, here’s what happened.

Every animal they sent was wrong. Too big. Too tall. Too jumpy. Too splashy. So we sang a song for each one and sent them back.

And the dressing up?
🐘 Elephants,
🐵 monkeys &
🐸 Frogs all over the Moo Room.

Our little elephants stomped across the mats.

Our builders made towers as tall as giraffes.

Our monkeys were fully, wonderfully active.

And our frogs splashed through puddles like they’d been waiting all week to do it.

At the very end, the zoo finally sent the perfect pet. Maggie Moo. 🐮

Watching a room full of little ones stomp, build, hop and splash, with the grown ups right there in it with them, is why we love this job.

We’re so grateful to every family who throws themselves into it, and I know Becky feels exactly the same.

“I had to get pregnant again, just to keep my Moo fix.” 😂

Genuinely one of my favourite reviews ever, and one I know Becky loved just as much as I did.

She said “Becca and Becky are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. That walking into a Moo class is a breath of fresh air.”

She’s sat in other baby groups before, ones where nobody spoke to her the entire session. Then she walked into Moo, and someone came straight over, made a room full of strangers feel a lot less daunting.

She said everyone in the room gets along, wherever you end up sitting, there’s always a friendly face and someone willing to chat.

And this bit properly got us both. She said we somehow remember hundreds of names every week, along with where each baby’s up to developmentally, cheering them on as they hit their milestones.

Honestly, we don’t know how we do it either some weeks.😂 We just know it matters, to us and to every family in that room.

She finished by saying Moo Music is so much more than a baby group.

That’s exactly what we hope every family feels the moment they walk through the door.

Every week, I watch this room do something I never get tired of.

Children gathering round, actually listening, answering questions
Engaging in activities with their grownups
Keeping their balloons in the.air like it’s the most important job in the world.

Parents not sat on the sidelines, but properly in it. Throwing themselves into every song, every game, right alongside their little ones.

This clip is just one ordinary week. No party, no special theme, just Mixed Moo doing what it does.

It fills my heart every single time, and I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it. 🥹

“What if everyone already knows each other?”

It’s one of the most common worries I hear, and I understand it completely. Because as a new mum, this was one of my biggest fears too!

But most families start together at the beginning of each term. You’re all new at the same time, and by week two the room already feels different.

Same faces. Same songs. A space in the room that starts to feel like yours.

Controversial? Maybe. 🫣

So this isn’t usually like me on here but I get asked so much about block booking that I just wanted to share a little insight…

The mums who feel most at home at Moo are the ones who come every week. Same familiar faces, same songs, same day & time.

How do I know? Because they tell me. 😊

But, it’s also when…
Your little one starts joining in.
You start arriving early for a chat.
Their confidence grows & we see the magic happen. ✨

Block booking isn’t about locking you in. It’s about giving you a place that feels like yours & a place for little ones to learn, grow & truly thrive. 🫶🏻

And if I’m being completely honest - and slightly vulnerable here - for someone who struggles with significant anxiety (& I know I’m not alone in this) it helps me to.
