Maternity Cover Teacher (Temporary)
ECT’s and experienced staff are welcome to apply. Required to start 23rd February 2026.
Position will initially be until 31st August 2026, with the possibility to extend further.
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher. The Governors and Headteacher of Seaton St. Paul’s C of E Junior School are seeking to appoint a creative, hardworking and innovative teacher, for a full time, temporary, post .
You will need to bring enthusiasm, drive and above all – a love of learning to support our team to achieve the very best for all our children. We are an inclusive, friendly school with a dedicated team and a warm family atmosphere.
You will:
• Have a good understanding of how to challenge and support children with a wide range of needs
• Be imaginative, delivering engaging and exciting sessions or lessons for our children
• Have a secure understanding of assessment, and be able to place this at the heart of your teaching
• Be a team-player with good communication and support our whole staff family
• Most importantly, be committed to professional development and have high expectations of your own practice
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding and how we support the whole child and family
