Our students (and staff!) had a great day volunteering today at a reptile and axolotl rescue centre. They worked hard, represented us brilliantly and had an amazing day.
A room of tarantulas is not for everyone but these students loved it!
N-able South Centre

We’re VERY excited that we have just got an allotment. Sure at the moment she’s not a looker (her name is Lottie) but we’re looking forward to bringing her to life and growing all sorts of things with our students.
We are in need of some items. If you have any of the following that you would like to donate we’d be SO grateful
- spades, forks, hoes or rakes
- watering cans
- water butt
- pots, seed trays, canes (or similar)
- timber, pallets or fencing material
And if you have a compost bin or wheelbarrow then we’d also love to hear from you!

Learning can and does happen in classrooms and at tables, but also on sofas, at standing benches, sitting on the floor or in the ‘eggloo’. Some like noise, others like silence, some need lots of movement and sensory feedback, others want to lock in and concentrate. Some love writing, others need to type, some want to learn as they move.
We work hard to get to know our students to find out what will work best for them and do more of it. We’ve got a great team who teach and support in any way we can 😊

Lifeskills are an important part of what happens at N-able, making sure we support young people to get ready for adulthood.
Today this young man planned, shopped and paid for, carried and unpacked the food before preparing it, eating it and clearing up. Proud of you E - it smelt delicious!

🎉 EXCITING NEWS – N-able is expanding to Hull, opening June 1st!!!🎉
We are incredibly proud to announce the opening of our 4th N-able Others Alternative Provision Centre, this time in Hull! 💙
N-able will be providing a much-needed safe, nurturing educational space for young people aged 11–25 who are unable to access or manage mainstream education. This may be due to high anxiety, mental health challenges, behavioural difficulties or other barriers to engagement in education.
At N-able, we understand that every young person’s journey is different. Our approach is built around high nurture, strong relationships and a deep understanding of neurodiversity, supporting both those with and without a formal diagnosis.
✨ What we offer:
📚 Maths & English provision
💬 Therapeutic activities and interventions
🤝 A safe, supportive environment focused on reconnection
💡 Individualised support with connection and trust at the heart of everything we do
A young person does not need an EHCP to attend, however placements must be agreed by a school or Local Authority.
Our mission is simple: to help young people reconnect with education, rebuild confidence and realise their potential.
If you know a young person who may benefit from this provision, please inbox this page to find out more.
Please help us spread the word by sharing! 💙
A day outside, moving our bodies, enjoying the sunshine and learning outdoors. Some brave students (and staff) learning together as they balance and work as a team. What a day 🥳
