School summer holidays are approaching fast . I'm sure as a parent this is a time you find hard to manage .
As a teacher I always found children took significant steps backwards in their learning over the holidays .
It's amazing how 6 weeks can impact progress . In my experience it can take them until autumn half term to return to where they were before the holidays .
Why not message me and I can help you to continue your child's learning hopefully lessening that backwards step in September ?
I am and always will be a teacher to my core . I absolutely adore supporting children to achieve their potential .
It makes me feel so good when I hear that children have made so much progress at school . It's not just the academic progress but the self confidence they develop . I hope that in some small way this is down to my tutoring .
If I can help a child to build up their self-confidence it's amazing what they can achieve . Academic progress is important but enjoying learning and wanting to learn has such a positive impact . A joy of learning is there for life .
Does your child have confidence issues impacting their ability to learn and make progress?
Why not message me and find out how I might be able to help .

My toolkits are everything but I was struggling with just one bag and multiple students swapping between . Now I still swap but not so often ! 🤣🤣
Common exception words can be so difficult for a child to learn .
At Owl's Nest we try to find memorable ways to learn spellings .
Standard Look, Say , Cover , Write , Check doesn't work for every child . Each child is unique . It's about finding what works best for each child; a more personalised approach .
Does your child struggle with spellings ?
Drop me a message .. I can help.
