Maybe nothing looks different from the outside , maybe no one else has really noticing the change, but you do! Because inside, so much has shifted. The parts of you that were labelled ‘too much’ ‘annoying’ … by others, where you took up too much space and maybe made others feel uncomfortable… you’re finally starting to see it for what it is…

Your joy, your aliveness, your truth…

Under this Scorpio full moon, in the fire of Beltane, the shame that kept them hidden is starting to fall away.

It feels almost unbearable to keep them hidden any longer.

Because you were never meant to dim yourself into something more acceptable for other people’s comfort, my love. You were meant to take up space, to be loud, to be silly, to feel it all… to dance badly, sing the wrong words, laugh too big, and let your wild, beautiful, silly self be seen… not someday, not when you’ve earned it, not when you get permission… now.

It’s time to let your joy be fully seen. It’s time to let go of the things, people, habits, voices that stop you.

Oh hello Aries New Moon! What a relief to see you! 🌑 What a month. 🔥 Everything I’ve ever felt hurt, angered, rejected, & let down about has come up & pouring out over the last few weeks. Like a big ol’ giant clown hand, waving fiercely in front of my face, then transforming into the biggest, slimiest, stinkiest fish being slapped right around my head! 😆😆 Anyone else?

I don’t have the words to describe it other than that. (I’ll trust that you’ll get it if you’re meant to.)

All the things I thought I’d dealt with came roaring out,as well as new things to add to it & the most intense anger, rage, pain, hurt, rejection… all of it saying loud & clear…

DO NOT IGNORE US ANY LONGER. 🔥 Do not try to numb these feelings, or push us down. 🔥 It is time to face us & deal with us & move the F**K on! 🔥

I have been a mess. Genuinely! I had to cancel my circle last week because I couldn’t stop crying. Ive hardly been able to function. I’ve had to scream, shout, & literally shake it all out in every way I could possibly think of. My incredible soul sister even had to come over to hold me while I cried in her arms. I’ve felt it all & now the new moon is here, I can see the light, I understand & thanks to new moon ceremony this morning I’ve spent time moving & shifting the energy, journaling on the prompts she shared, & dancing the roof off my house to Bec’s Inner Fire playlist. 🔥 (as well as clearing the s**t out of the energy of the last few weeks!)

Yes Aries, you fire blazing goddess, I am indeed done playing small, being controlled, doing what I’ve been told. I’m done with not choosing myself, holding back for the comfort of others, pleasing at the detriment of myself, & chasing connections that don’t want me for exactly who I am, worts n’all.

I MATTER too🔥

I’m taking time now to rest before more ritual work & a lot of candlelit dancing to some fire blazing tunes this evening. Because I CHOOSE ME! I will not live small, my truth is ready to be released. 🔥

But first, rest & some more of this hilarious new series from the incredible Dan Levy. Because, respite is needed to. Oh & in case you don’t know… YOU MATTER TOO! xx

It’s hard to find joy when the world looks like it does, when struggles are real and life feels really flipping hard. There’s so much that gets in the way and such a pressure to perform. Not to mention the guilt, shame and everything else in between!

There’s a nuance to joy at times like this. But it can still exist and be more than enough.

These are the things giving me joy. For ME not for anyone else.

And for full transparency, as I decided to start writing this the kids have gone feral. Decided they need everything of me right now. In a space of 5 minutes I’ve gone for grateful and hopeful to now needing to go back to bed!!! 🤯

But that’s how it is isn’t it. 🤦‍♀️ Gods help me!

What’s bringing you joy? Anything? What can you find. And also; be honest with yourself. What could you really do without? 🤯😆 xx It doesn’t have to be all sunshine and roses. It can just be crap too! All of you is accepted. xx

One week ago we released tickets for our boutique unschooling festival in England and we have already sold ALL the tickets we had last year. Fortunately we have a much better, bigger site- so there is space for you too!

It is in Halstead, Essex
and the dates for camp will be:
MONDAY 7th - SATURDAY 12th September
and
this will be followed by a Dancing Forest Sisterhood Retreat
Saturday 12th September to Monday 14th September.

Make haste while the sun shines dear rebel comrades!
