Sam’s little treasures childminding

The vegetable patch is looking amazing 👏 the children have been brilliant at making sure the plants are watered and that they are all growing well 🫘 🥒 🍅 🥔
Today we noticed there is lots of tiny green tomatoes 🍅 can't wait to pick them.
Even our smallest little one had learnt how to hold the watering can and water the plants 🪴 💧

Took Flo to gymnastics this evening and out of the corner of my eye I spied this little beauty sitting on a driveway with a sign saying 'please take' 😍 🛝 dropped Flo and made Patrick drive back to get it... wouldn't fit in the car so i had to walk it home lol 😂

The children are going to be so happy tomorrow ☺️ the old one was a little too small so this will be perfect. The small one went on my drive with the sign and gone within 10 minutes!! I do love recycling ♻️
First job tomorrow clean the slide 🛝 🫧 🙌

More garden play today, making the most of the sunshine 🌞
Some beautifully scented water play with mango teabags, oranges and lemons 🍋 🍊 🥭 the children practiced pouring and make me lots of cups of tea and then yummy cocktails.

Plants were well watered 🪴 🌱 🌿 🌾

We also rescued a mouse 🐁 the cats were taking a very particular interest in a plant pot... we picked it up and a tiny little mouse ran for its life!! The cats were not happy 😕 🤣

Home made lollys and some yummy watermelon to keep cool and hydrated 🍉 🍍

World bee day 🐝
The children have enjoyed some bee themed activities this week as we have learnt some fun facts about bees 🐝
They loved the sensory tray. Pouring and scooping and feeding the bee 🐝 our smaller friends got involved too 💖

We did the 'dance of the bumblebee' starting crouched down on the floor as bees asleep in the hive then buzzing around and collecting nectar form the flowers 💐

They made their very own bees from dandelions 🌼

Digging to Australia 🇦🇺 team work in action! The plan was to plant the carrots 🥕 here but the children have so much fun digging we will have to find another space 🤔

All done ✔️ 🙌 everything has been cleaned and organised... phew! New toys and resources added to reflect the childrens interests and to help with their next steps 👣

I have a feeling im going to regret this in about 5 minutes 😂
Playroom definitely needed a good organise and change around... wish me luck 🙏 😅
