Nutkhut

Nutkhut We create quality, accessible performance work, working in the outdoors and in response to specific Nutkhut has been delighting audiences since 2003.

We are a major presence in the outdoor performing arts sector, and work regularly with festivals and events across the UK and beyond. Nutkhut is led by two British Asian artists, Simmy Gupta and Ajay Chhabra. The company is unique as it draws inspiration from the Artistic Directors’ backgrounds and mixes it with a very British sense of humour and mischief. Nutkhut is highly representative of modern Britain. We create work which could only have come from the here and now.

🏳️‍🌈 RUSHMOOR PRIDE 🏳️‍🌈

We are gearing up for a huge party this weekend at the fantastic festival, joining to celebrate the history and culture of Pride - the struggles, resistance, joy, and the fantastic community who have paved the way for LGBTQ+ rights and visibility.

We will be bringing the South Asian energy to you, Rushmoor - here’s just a little taster of the flavours we’re bringing! ⬆️

As summer draws to a close and we move into the new academic year, we would like to wish the best of luck to all of the students out there 👩‍🎓✏️

We have had the pleasure of working with students at Richmond College, Farnborough College, Sandwell College, George Dixon Academy, and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama this year, and we have been consistently blown away by the levels of talent and commitment in these young people!

From all parts of the UK and to our local south west students, whether you’re continuing your studies, getting ready for your new jobs, moving on to apprenticeships - we’re wishing all the best to you!

Plus, an extra special shout out to the parents watching their beloved children embark into the next chapter of their lives 🥹

A look back at our wonderful weekend at Camden Mela! 👀

Our stilt walkers loved spreading joy in the streets of Camden Market and interacting with all the lovely folk of London ☀️

We were lucky enough to be alongside so many fabulous vendors, food stalls and performers celebrating south Asian culture and community.

Keep your eyes peeled for our next movements… we have a busy summer ahead! 😎
