It’s been so lovely to welcome back so many familiar faces, meet our wonderful new friends and watch those little friendships and bonds already beginning to grow. 💛

Our Sunflowers have been busy settling in, exploring, playing, reconnecting and making new memories together — what a lovely start to the new term! 🌻✨

Our ever popular art wall in Buttercups, has been busy this week with our little artists mark making, creating some fabulous lines and shapes. They are working hard towards those early stages of handwriting. It also supports with choosing a preference of hand, develops core muscles and balance and of course those ever important social skills, where they learn to take turns, wait and have empathy for their peers.
So proud of the way our children use this resource. 🎨🖍️🖌️📚🎨💛

We have already had a wonderful time welcoming back old faces and getting to know some new ones.
The children have been so helpful supporting the new children to navigate their way around their new environment, with lots of kindness and hugs.
It is so good to have everyone back and we hope you have a lovely weekend.

We have already had a wonderful time in Buttercups, welcoming back old faces and meeting some new ones. 🤗
The children have settled back in so well and have been so welcoming and warm, to the new children visiting us. We are very proud of them. ☺️🎉
We are looking forward to our first full week, next week. Have a lovely weekend everyone from Buttercups.

It’s never about the end product in Buttercups, it’s about the method, critical thinking, process, creating and transforming.
The simplest of activities with some very creative outcomes and wonderful language shared.
“The flour is so soft.”
“I mixed it together.”
“It smells so much.”

We know in Buttercups that a little afternoon dance, when it’s too hot for the garden is exactly what we need!!
“Do the lights” they say.
Music, glow sticks, friends and a clear dance floor is all they need. And let me tell you there was some serious competition for this years BBC Strictly 🪩🎉💃🏼🕺🏻🎤🎶

Pyjama Day at St Mary’s was full of smiles, laughter, and cosy fun! 💤💛

We enjoyed some tasty party snacks, got cosy while sharing our favourite stories, and finished the day with a fun dance party. We also had a special visit from Merlin the dog, who loved joining in with all the excitement and made our day even more memorable! 🐾 A wonderful day making happy memories together! ✨📚🎉

This was simply magical in Buttercups this afternoon. They led their own play, took turns, helped, supported, giggled, compromised, waited, made choices, made decisions and most importantly, were in charge of their own play.
