Prioritising Mental Health π
World Mental Health Day.
As someone who has had past struggles with mental health and lives with anxiety, I understand and am a huge advocate for the importance of recognising and supporting mental health.
I use many strategies to keep my mind healthy and happy, not all at the same time, not all of the time and some I am still learning. I draw on them in times of need.
I practice mindfulness daily, gratitude, breath work, cold water therapy, reading, journaling, exercise, good gut health (this one Iβm working on), meditation, yoga, a tidy and organised home, get out in nature and surround myself with good energy people amongst other things.
You never know what someone is going through so always act with kindness.
Remember to take care of your mental well-being. It's not only important for yourself, but also for those around you. Spread kindness and positivity to create a healthy and happy environment for all.
What are the things you do that you find really works for your mind? Please do share as it may really help someone
The reason I love what I do is when I see the uplifting shift in others once their mindset has changed and they have restored a calm and ordered space. They start living the life they want and deserve. Having a home sanctuary is one step to get you on the road to joy. A subject very close to my heart. I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy Noah nine years ago and we got to have three beautiful hours of cuddles before we had to say our heartbreaking goodbyes due to his severe heart condition.
Whenever the sun comes out we feel his presence.
