We are getting ready to celebrate Harvest Festival at nursery! 🍎🥕🌾🌽
The children have been enjoying lots of fun harvest themed activites, including exploring our farm shop role play, farm-themed small word play, sensory play and discovering fruits, vegetables and farm animals.
We are looking forward to continuing our harvest festival celebrations and helping children learn all about where our food comes from, farms, animals and the importance of being thankful for the food we have. ❤️
We hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend and enjoyed some special time with family and friends. 🥕🥮🌾🌽🍎

Today we had a very special visitor …. Ghost the cat!🐱🤍
The children absolutely loved meeting Ghost and had so much fun gently petting him, giving him some treats, brushing his fur and playing with him ☺️
It was a wonderful hands- on experience that gave the children the opportunity to learn how to be gentle, caring and respectful around animals. 🐾
A huge thank you to Lyra and Julie for making this lovely visit possible and helping us to make Pet Week so special! 🐱❤️

We’re so excited for a fun-filled Pet Week at Park View this week! 🐶🐱🐕🐇
Our rooms have been transformed into little veterinary surgeries and pet shops, with lots of exciting opportunities for the children to explore, imagine and learn through play.🩺🩹
The children are going to be able to care for poorly animals, take them for x-rays, check their temperatures, groom them, feed them, give them a cosy place to rest and even visit our very own pet shop! 🩻🥕🐾
We’ve also prepared lots of animal-themed books, role-play resources, sensory experiences, and activites to encourage the children to talk about different animals, how we care for them, and what they need to stay happy and healthy❤️
We can’t wait to see our little vets, pets shop owners and animal carers in action this week! 🐾👩‍⚕️🐶

This week at nursery, we have been celebrating what makes each of our little ones so wonderfully unique! 💕
Throughout the week we have been exploring emotions, transitions, families, home, life, show and tell from home, our senses, self portraits and much more! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🏡
We have been encouraging the children to share their experiences, talk about the people and things that are important to them, recognise and express their emotions, and celebrate all the things that make us who we are.🌈
It’s been a lovely week of getting to know each other even better, building confidence and self-esteem and celebrating each other! ✨💕

Today we celebrated our wonderful Pre-School children as they graduated from Park View and prepare for their exciting journey to school ✨
It has been a privilege to watch them grow in confidence, kindness and independence. We are very proud of everything they have achieved and know they will go on to do amazing things.

This week we have been celebrating Friendship Week, focusing on kindness, teamworks and the importance of being a good friend 🫶🏼
Our children have loved taking part in lots of friendship- themed activites, including creating colourful friendship bracelets, mixing magical friendship potions, sharing stories, and working together through play. These experiences have encouraged conversations about caring for others, taking turns, sharing and showing kindness everyday 🌈✨

With lots of children going on their summer holidays, we’ve been celebrating all things summer here at Park View this week!
Our children have loved exploring a variety of exciting, holiday - themed activites including:
🏖️Small world beach scenes
🧳Holiday role play and packing adventures
👒Dressing dolls in summer outfits- ensuring they have the correct sun protection!
🎨Summer drawing and creative mark making
🌺Tropical tuff trays
💧Outdoor water play to help us cool down in the sunshine.

These activites have encouraged imaginative play, communication, creativity, fine motor skill and lots of conversations about holidays, beaches and summertime fun.
We hope all our families have lovely summer holiday where ever you are going, and we can’t wait to hear all about them when you return!

Its hard to believe the growth in the last 2 years and the little ones we have seen develop before our eyes ♥️
