Some pretty cool festivals and events coming up both domestically and across the water. Can't wait to share stories on the stunning island of Kea in Greece in July, and also at the Cape Clear Island International Storytelling Festival in Ireland in September. But before that there will be Story Bazaar at Wolverhampton Arts Centre with the brilliant Laura Sampson this month, and also the Forgotten Lands festival in Cumbria working alongside the superb Kirsten Milliken Storyteller, plus we'll be sharing Roses are Dead in June in Lichfield . Let the storytelling adventures commence. π€βπ½ππΎ

2026 has started off brilliantly with some great events, performances and training taking place already. Just want to take a moment to say a sincere thank you to those organisers, head teachers, fellow artists, heads of faculty, and others for putting your trust in me and supporting Storytelling. An extra shout out to those dynamic bookers who say yes today and make things happen tomorrow- you are truly a Freelancers dream come true! Onwards with passion, honesty, integrity and purpose. Peace PC.

Colin Urwin Peter Chand Storyteller - Tales from India

Love this picture from 4 years ago, just before a performance of Tongue Tied & Twisted with the supremely talented PKCthefirst. One of the pieces of work I'm most proud of in my career as a Storyteller. In 2014 we interviewed 50 South Asian elders here in Wolverhampton and they shared their folktales in Punjabi, Hindi and English. I translated them and PKC created music and soundscapes, so we could perform the stories live. Transformative in so many ways for us and the elders. Produced by the good people at Black Country Touring. ππΎπ€βπ½
