We're excited to share the wonderful selection of books, jigsaws, and activity books we’ve chosen with the money raised from our sponsored reading event. These resources will enrich the children's experiences across the nursery! A huge thank you to everyone for your support in helping us raise £303, which allowed us to spend a total of £393 on these fantastic items. 📚READY STEADY LISTEN- our week long reading event 📚

We're excited to share that from 27th July to 31st July 2026, we'll be hosting a sponsored listen to celebrate and nurture a love of reading both at home and nursery! This wonderful project is in partnership with our Usborne Consultant, Lyndsey Ball from Kaleidoscope Books, and all the funds raised will go directly towards new books for our nursery.

We kindly ask for your support in enhancing our resources by spending a few minutes each day reading with your little one. The staff in your child's room will be setting up fun challenges for each group as a friendly competition. These challenges are designed for you to do together at home, and we can’t wait to hear all about the fantastic reading adventures you embark on over the coming weeks!

If you’re able to join in our sponsored read, we’ve enclosed a sponsorship form and a listening log for your child, should they wish to keep track of their listening. Cash payments or bank transfers to our nursery account are welcomed, with a deadline of 3rd August 2026. Please shared this with your friends and family to help us raise as much money as we can

Today, we celebrated our Pre-school graduation for all the little ones heading off to school! A big thank you to all the parents who joined us; it truly was a special day. Bluebell's new pets

Our Bluebells children have been having such fun watching their new pets transform from tiny eggs into adults! Both the children and staff are enjoying the challenge of locating our five stick insects hidden among the leaves. They're super tricky to spot because they blend in so well! It's a fantastic experience for the children to see these little creatures grow and discover what they like to munch on. I'm sure our stick insects will be a wonderful addition to the nursery and inspire the children to learn more about the natural world around them.

Our New Pets

Today, the Sunflower children took a walk to the Post Room to collect their new arrivals: two baby snails. The children assisted the staff in setting up the snail's enclosure and offered them some banana to eat. They were intrigued by why the snails live indoors and how they will grow.

We would appreciate your assistance in naming our snails. Please share your suggestions in the comments, and the children will vote for their favourite names.

Let's create dotty patterns!

This morning, our Bluebells children engaged their creative and fine motor skills by picking up and placing pom poms on sticky tape. They created their own interpretations of the dot patterns inspired by the artist Yayoi Kusama.
