✨ Value community, inclusion, dance and the creative arts
✨ Want to make a positive impact and be part of something meaningful

⭐ FOUNDER UPDATE | TEDx Speaker 🎤 ⭐

I’m proud to share that as a Founder of Unique Movez, I am now officially a TEDx speaker — a moment that means so much to me as a creative leader, and advocate for lived experience.

🩰 From being that shy 4-year-old girl at the back of the dance floor… to now taking centre stage and sharing my journey as a dyslexic and autistic dancer.

This moment did not happen overnight. It took time, dedication, faith, consistency, mentorship, and a willingness to keep refining my voice.

💡 My talk begins with the phrase:
“Two steps forward, slide to the left, side tap, side tap”
— words that hold so much of my story.

I’m deeply grateful to the TEDxWolverhampton
organising team, the volunteers, and the incredible speakers I shared this experience with. And to Arena Theatre that hosted it, a place connected to my early years in performing arts.

🕒 Throwback to a Year Ago: Celebrating Our Dance Family! 💖

✨Time flies when you’re building community! One year ago, our team stepped away from the studio floor to hold a vital Not-for-Profit Branding Away Day. 📈💼

As a CIC, finding a space that feels safe, supportive, and welcoming is everything to us. We hired the wonderful studio space at for the first time, and it felt like a home away from home. 🏡

Safe to say, it gets a massive green tick from us!

✅We want to give a huge, well-deserved spotlight to this local gem. Here is why we absolutely loved it:

🏡 Cosy, Intimate & Private – It felt like a nurturing sanctuary where our team could truly relax and think creatively.

📍 Heart of the City – Super easy to locate with effortless public transport links and local shops right on the doorstep.

☕ Thoughtful Amenities – The kitchenette and restroom access kept us feeling looked after and fueled all day.

🎥 Bonus Generosity – Having access to their dance resources and projector allowed us to bring our vision to life. Talking Dance Without Moving 💃🏾

🗣️✨We spent the day focusing on how to better serve you, our community. We were incredibly proud to collaborate with the brilliant PR agency .diagonaldance who specialise in dance.

Together, we dived deep into community engagement, visibility, and ways to uplift the sector.

🌐📣A magnificent thank you to the visionary founder for creating such an inspiring local space, and a special shout-out to the wonderful for looking after us so beautifully on the day. You are both absolute stars!
