🏆 Sports Day 2026 – Green House Triumph! 💚

What a fantastic afternoon of teamwork, determination and house spirit at our Years 1–6 Sports Day! Every child gave their absolute best, showing resilience, encouragement and wonderful sportsmanship throughout the events.

At Newbridge, we believe in creating opportunities and ensuring every child has genuine choice at 11+. We are immensely proud of each and every one of our Year 6 pupils and can't wait to see all they go on to achieve. 💙

🧪 There were plenty of smiles in Year 2 as the children got hands-on creating potions during their Science lesson on Move Up Morning! Wearing 'lab coats' and safety goggles, they worked carefully like real scientists, measuring, mixing and observing their experiments. A brilliant session full of curiosity, teamwork and scientific thinking!

🏅 What a fantastic Early Years Sports Day!

Our youngest children were absolute superstars, showing determination, resilience and plenty of smiles throughout the morning. From running races to obstacle courses, every child gave it their all, cheered on their friends and had a wonderful time.

🧪🔬 Science came to life at Newbridge! 🔬🧪

Our Science Workshop for pupils and parents was a fantastic success! Families spent an exciting hour getting hands-on with a range of fun and interactive science activities, exploring, experimenting and discovering together.

A huge well done to our amazing Year 6 pupils, who did a brilliant job leading the activities with confidence, enthusiasm and expertise. We are so proud of them!

🎵 House Music Competition 🎵

Huge congratulations to all of our winners and performers in this year’s House Music Competition! We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with an impressive variety of musical performances and instruments. A special thank you to Mrs Carr from Wolverhampton Girls’ High School for adjudicating – the standard was so high that she certainly had the difficult task of choosing the winners. Well done to everyone who took part and shared their musical talents with us! 🎶

🥚 An egg-citing science lesson in Year 5! After cracking an egg and taking photographs of it, the children used their iPads to label the different parts. A fantastic way to combine science and computing while bringing learning to life!

A huge thank you to Splash Swim School for an amazing three weeks of swimming in our pop-up pool!

With every pupil swimming every day for three weeks, the progress we have seen has been truly exceptional. From building confidence in the water to developing new skills and techniques, our children have impressed us all with their determination, enthusiasm and resilience.

What a fantastic experience and a wonderful way to finish our swimming programme! 💙🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

What a fantastic day at Newbridge with Skipping Ninja!

The children loved the high-energy assembly and had a brilliant time learning new skipping skills throughout the day. There was lots of fun, laughter and determination on display, with pupils challenging themselves and achieving some amazing progress.
