Congratulations to the girls who performed yesterday morning at Dudley Drama Festival, gaining another first place, a second place and five more thirds.

In total the girls achieved 5 firsts, 7 seconds and 10 third places! Thank you to your parents for supporting you and Mrs Woodman for preparing you!
Congratulations to all of our girls who performed at Dudley Drama Festival today scooping three trophies, four first places, six second places, five third places and numerous highly commended performances! It was so very special to see you all performing so confidently after two years of Covid-19 restrictions.
This week we were thrilled to surprise our Year Five pupil who won the ISA National Poetry Competition, with a letter from her writing inspiration Benjamin Zephaniah. Dr Benjamin Zephaniah was born and raised in Birmingham, England. He cannot remember a time when he was not creating poetry! His first book of poetry for children called ‘Talking Turkeys’ had to go into an emergency reprint after just 6 weeks, no one could foresee how popular the book would be; it went to the top of the children's book list and stayed there for months.

She also received a signed copy of Steven Camden's 'My Big Mouth' book with a personalised message along with a £10 book token.

Benjamin Zephaniah - Thank you!
Congratulations to the Imagination (auditioned) school choir who were awarded first place in the Children’s Choir (11 Years and Under) class at Dudley Music Festival.
Congratulations to our Senior Recorder group who were awarded first place in the Recorder Consort (Open) class at Dudley Music Festival.

As a part of Black History Month, today is dedicated to Katherine Johnson!

From 1962, Katherine Johnson dedicated her studies to using geometry in space. NASA used Katherine's mathematical calculations to safely send John Glenn into orbit around the earth. Later, her skills allowed astronauts to go to the Moon and back!

A monumental achievement for the world and for women in STEM which deserves recognition 🚀
