Our book of the month in Preschool is Zog, chosen by the children. We have been painting zog pictures and have used our creative skills to make the characters out of play dough. We have had so much fun!

Last week Toddler's 1 enjoyed making pitta pizza's for ! Toddler's 1 used their independence and fine motor skills to choose their own ingredients and decorate their yummy pizza's. The Toddler's were also able to discuss the different colours, textures and name the different ingredients

This week Babies 2 made some yummy raspberry yogurt bark! The children really enjoyed washing there hands and helping. They carefully put the rasberries in the jug, they helped to mix it all together, and they were so excited to watch their practitioner use the blender! It was so loud, they thought it was very funny. Well done Babies 2!

We have been using our skills by using the mini beads and the pipe cleaners. Preschool were challenged to match the numbers on the cards to the correct amount of beads. We saw some amazing counting from the children as well as understanding what happens when to many are added. Well done Preschool.

Today in Babies 2 we have created some beautiful sea animals for our summer display! The children enjoyed looking at all the different pictures from under the sea. They had so much fun using different resources such as crayon's, paint pens and dabbers to create different colours and textures. Some children used their language during this activity to communicate, saying "more" and "wowwwww". We modeled language and encouraged children to copy the names of colours and the names of animals too. Well done Babies you made some great marks and used your fine and gross motor skills amazingly!
