Recently some of our Advanced Learners in KS3 Science had an exciting opportunity to visit Raybloc in Willenhall, where they experienced first-hand how science is used in industry.
Raybloc design and manufacture specialist X-ray doors and MRI cages for healthcare environments and our students were fascinated to see how science, maths and design all come together to create such important, real-world products.
This visit was a fantastic opportunity for students to explore potential careers in science and the wider workplace. They also learned just how important every school subject is in opening doors to future pathways.
It was a truly inspiring experience, and weβre proud of how engaged and curious our students were throughout!

Does anyone know who this cat belongs to? She has decided to make herself at home at Perton Middle but Mrs. Burrington won't let us keep her as a school pet!! The owner will need to bring proof of ownership to collect her but, in the mean time, we will make sure she's well looked after.
