Morning all hope you're well? New video is now out in the world. A really interesting one to be honest. Started out as a tone experiment but ended up being something else entirely. Many thanks again to Neil and Toby for their participation in this one, they made a huge impact and it was so interesting to have that realtime interaction as we were filming it. I could get used to having an audience haha...Pinfields live anyone?

Hello folks, hope you're well.

First vid of the year hits the channel tomorrow and it's a bit of an epic. A tale as old as time and one I suspect will be relatable to many of you. Won't say much more than that at this point...

It was also a fantastic excuse to leave the house for a couple of hours and catch up with some pals, old and new. Which was lovely.

We're moving the upload to SUNDAYS AT 6PM (UK) for at least a couple of weeks, maybe forever- we'll see how we get on. For now, feel free to have a lie in or go and get some fresh air first thing it's your choice.

To mark the first video back we’ll be doing a premiere, so if you fancy watching it with us, jump on just before 6. A very happy new year to all you good folks out there. We made it...phew...

As promised, this Sunday at 6:30pm UK time, we will be hosting our first ever live stream. The budget is low but the vibes are very very high indeed. Excited to see just how wrong this live TV lark can go. Not that I don't trust Lucy in the tech department it's just that as you'll see from the thumbnail this one is all on me.

Lucy (and maybe dogs) will be there of course, but purely in a damage limitation capacity. Lots to talk about and very much looking forward to doing the highwire act in front of as many of you as possible. The pros really do make this stuff look easy. Suggest a stiff drink instead of the usual coffee to take the edge off. Raid what's left of your Christmas stash if needs be.

A quick Christmas Vid Update today, featuring amongst other things, dogs. That fact alone has got to be worth a look hasn't it. Not just dogs but dogs in the wild and Lucy nearly stacking it on camera - AND news of something fun that might be happening over the holiday period. But honestly, that's completely out of our control at this point!

Two of you lovely folks asked me for a guitar collection tour so this is me going through all my most significant instruments and comparing them to the Rick 330. And the results were....interesting to say the least. Some would say mind blowing. I wouldn't but some would.

It's also the video I wish I'd have been able to watch prior to purchasing my own Rickenbacker and I hope will be useful for anyone who's in the market for one!

Hello folks! Hope you’re all well. I realised I’d been neglecting this little corner of our channel, and as there’s quite a lot to share, now seems as good a time as any. This week is all about FRIENDS.

First up: Harriet J. Woodcock’s new EP is out tomorrow. You might remember Harriet from the recent London show and her (slightly reluctant!) appearance in the vlog. I played on and produced the record, and it’s a cracking piece of work. Always a joy to work with her — I’d strongly recommend checking out the new release and the rest of her music. I’ll post the record here tomorrow so you can give it a listen.

Picture number three is me with the gent himself, Greg Platt Lake. Huge interview landing this Sunday — I won’t spoil the surprises, but Greg has played with some serious musicians. The kind you probably had posters of on your bedroom wall. He’s also a terrific guitarist, so tune in at 10am Sunday — you know the drill.

Last weekend was a lovely one out with Bryony and the band, and I’ve got some great moments from that to share. On top of it all, I’ve joined another band… on drums! Little-known fact: drums were actually my first instrument. I’ll be playing kit for my good friends The Calamity, frequent visitors to the studio, who have a new record coming out on my label Grandflat Recordings in September. More on that soon.

Well hello there folks, hope you're well. Managed to get out the house and put the Boss GX-10 through its paces at Wolverhamptons' greatest rehearsal studio. Check out our latest video below if you missed it to meet the band, discover some fascinating local history nugs and of course find out how it went. Is it really possible to bin your pedalboard forever and move over to the digital dark side?

The band rehearsing in that video (the one I've recently joined!) is none other than the live band for ​⁠Bryony Williams‬ and today marks the release of her debut album 'You Are Here'. An album so good that I came out of retirement to play the songs on tour this year. Guitar wise all of the sounds on this record pre-date my GX-10 era but if you wanted to hear me on my old rig this album would be a great place to start. Tasty solo on one of the songs so keep an ear out for that, don't get to shred that often these days haha...

Bryony is a phenomenally talented artist and deserves every success. She's worked incredibly heard on this record and it is 100% independent so please consider supporting the release by buying a vinyl or CD if you can. Available to stream in all the usual places of course. It's a thing of beauty.

Hello folks! Hope you're all having a fabulous festive season. Apologies for being a little quiet of late - life got in the way a little but we will be much more regular with our posting in 2025 and we have tons of new ideas that we can't wait to share with you.
