We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Amethyst Sixth Form Open Event on Thursday. The evening was a brilliant showcase of our curriculum, enrichment opportunities, and the vibrant community spirit that makes our sixth form so special.

From the engaging subject displays to the warm, professional welcome from staff, it was clear how much care and commitment went into making the event a success. Your efforts created an environment that was inclusive, informative, and inspiring.

💬 Feedback from students and parents was overwhelmingly positive, with many excited about their future at Amethyst. With almost 200 families visiting year, the evening truly highlighted the strength of our provision and the passion of our team.

📥 Applications are already coming in fast, and it’s clear that September 2026 is set to be our biggest and most ambitious cohort yet. We look forward to shaping future learning pathways and supporting every student to be challenged, stretched, and successful.

Due to the poor weather conditions and advice received from Wolverhampton Local Authority, Aldersley will be closed to students today.

We will be open for post-16 students who have exams and they will be contacted to support them.

All students have work that they can access, and for students in Years 11 and 13 we are setting work to be done today.

Please stay safe and all being well we will be back on Monday as normal.
