This week the children were pleased to finally be able to plant their potatoes with their friends at A Real Madhouse Child Care! We’ve been patiently waiting for them since chitting them a few weeks ago🥔 Everyone had fun choosing their favourites to plant and they loved getting muddy whilst “hiding” their potatoes!
We have made special treats for Mother’s Day, sang lots of songs, read lots of stories, been hunting for minibeasts and enjoyed some spring themed sensory play 🌼

⭐️ EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR LITTLE ONE TO JOIN THE MAD HATTER TEAM ⭐️
I now have a space available from Jan 2026, for a child aged up to 18 months on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
I received OUTSTANDING in my last Ofsted inspection and accept Childcare vouchers as well as funding from 9 months upwards.
We have a large focus on outdoor learning and do a variety of fun outings throughout the year!

This week we took our first few weeks of donations to the food bank donation box at Waitrose. The littlies and their families have been very generous, giving for our reverse advent calendar, and me and A Real Madhouse Child Care have each matched those donations too. 🩷 We will continue to collect and donate for Wokingham Foodbank until the end of November, as well as regular donations throughout the year. The children love dropping off their items and they are all so proud of themselves and their friends, as they learn to help others and be a kind and thoughtful member of our community. 🥰

Here are just some of the fun things that we have been up to in the last few weeks with our friends at A Real Madhouse Child Care

We have loved watching the trees change colour and collecting the leaves that fall for autumn crafts. 🍂 We have visited the library, fed the fish, gone on woodland walks, practised our colours and shapes, read lots of stories and done lots of dancing. Our new light sticks are definitely a favourite for dancing at the moment! 🪩

Some photos from the last 2 weeks of the summer holidays ☀️ we’ve been very busy with our friends at A Real Madhouse Child Care! We’ve fed the fish, visited the library, sang lots of songs, gone on nature walks, hunted for bugs and other creatures, fed the ducks, jumped in puddles, found many different uses for sticks and done lots and LOTS of running 🏃‍♂️
We look forward to much more fun throughout September 😊

Some more of the fun our littlies have had this summer so far! ☀️ last week we did our annual Windsor boat tour and the children loved getting to experience the boat, seeing the castle and saying hi to some locals! A great day for all 😄
