Nature is Magic.
When I was lucky enough to support on a Clinical study for the effects of Forest bathing with harmonyinnature.uk and Mind mental health charity several years ago, we saw a whopping 42% average decrease in Anxiety over the course of 8 weeks.
Participants spent 2 hours, once a week in ancient woodland and surroundings up in Newlands corner , and mindfully observed our surroundings, participating in gentle activities such as walking, breathing and meditation.
As soon as I discovered mindfulness, it strengthened my bond with nature and our planet - the miracles growing beneath our feet , the perfect timing, remedies and reminders growing before our eyes.
There's so much research into how and why nature supports our wellbeing - but you don't need a paper infont of you to feel the positive effects.
Why not try a mindful walk and see for yourself. Save this post for when you need a little reminder to tune into your senses and bring yourself back into the present moment.
