SKIP OR SAVE WITH SAMMY? 003🌿
Two viral Reels. Nearly 23 MILLION views between them. One very confident claim:
Add cottage cheese to your scrambled eggs, almost double the protein, and you won’t even know it’s there.
So, is it worth saving?
My verdict: SKIP ❌
The protein boost is real. I used two medium eggs and 100g of cottage cheese, giving the mixture approximately 24g of protein.
But the consistency? Horrible.
For me, it ruined perfectly good scrambled eggs.
My alternative would be to cook the eggs normally and serve the cottage cheese on the side. Same ingredients. Same protein. Far nicer breakfast.
I served mine with gluten-free toast, avocado for fibre and unsaturated fats, and sliced tomato for freshness, colour and another plant on the plate.
Because crowding in nourishment doesn’t mean forcing yourself to eat a “healthy hack” you don’t enjoy.
Small course corrections still need to work in real life, and taste good enough that you’ll actually want to repeat them.
Would you mix cottage cheese into your eggs, or firmly keep it on the side?
