🐟 Level 1 Fish Husbandry (NEW) is ideal if you:

💧 Enjoy working with fish and aquatic animals
🌿 Want to learn about aquatic plants and environments
🎣 Are interested in sports fisheries
🪸 Want hands-on experience caring for and maintaining aquatic species
🦎 Prefer exotic and aquatic animals over traditional pets

🐶 Level 1 Animal Care is perfect if you:

As we celebrate his 100th birthday, these pictures of learners with animals reflect the curiosity, care, and stewardship he has inspired across generations. His work has shown that understanding nature is the first step towards protecting it.

Animal Care Assistant (Weekend Role)

We are seeking a dedicated Animal Care Assistant to join our team on a weekend basis. This role requires working every other weekend, supporting the wider animal care team to ensure the highest standards of welfare for the animals on site.

📍Location: CWA Wisbech Campus
⏰Hours: Weekend role (every other weekend)

We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about animal care and welfare
Hardworking, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Enthusiastic and willing to get involved in all aspects of animal husbandry

Essential Requirements

A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Animal Care.
Practical industry experience working with a variety of species
Good communication and organisational skills
