UCMAS is a mental arithmetic program for children between 4 and 12 years. metic Institutes: The Chinese Utility Abacus Research Society of Taiwan, and Taiwan Mental Arithmetic Association. Present in over 40 countries and 15 centres in the UK, KIND runs a UCMAS franchise and is the only certified centre in the whole of Berkshire. English Courses:
KIND offers a number of English courses like EC and IELTS for International students for different age groups and different levels. The programmes could be tailored to meet the students' needs and its length could be adapted to the required level or score. Children & Youth Camps:
A Multi-Activity programme available to students wishing to stay for one week or more and it is also a great option for both students with an intermediate level of English or above who would prefer to improve their English language informally, outside of the classroom with their English instructors and children of same age AND students with basic level of English who would like to have both fun and improve their command of English. The programme includes a varied range of daytime and evening activities, one full day excursion and one half day excursion per week. There are over 50 different activities to try out. KIND Arabic and Islamic Studies classes:
KIND runs Arabic, Quran and Deen classes every Sun. All our teachers are qualified native Arabs. Our students come from different countries like; Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Palestine, Indonesia, Pakistan and England. Our objective is to offer both Arab and non-Arab students quality tuition to complement the UK national curriculum. Teachers' Training:
KIND offer a number of teachers' training courses for both university teachers and school teachers. The courses could be customised for interested teachers or organisations to take place on the UK or as a distance-learning or both. Internships:
KIND offer a number of internship opportunities in the USA, Canada, UK, Malta and South Africa through our partners. The programmes offers a great opportunity for fresh graduates to improve their CVs by gaining relevant work experience in their fields, gain new skills and practice their English skills in a professional environment.
