Hundreds more children in Devon could become eligible for free school meals this September following a change to Government rules. From the start of the new school year, all children in households receiving Universal Credit will be entitled to free school meals, regardless of household earnings. 🌿🦙 What an unforgettable adventure for our Little Otters! 🐐🐷🐴

Yesterday, our Little Otters at The Clinton C of E School and Dolton Church of England School had the most amazing day at Woolley Animals Farm Park, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The children had so much fun feeding the alpacas, goats, pigs, ponies and donkeys, cuddling the chickens and guinea pigs, enjoying a tractor ride, learning how to milk a goat, and even meeting the lovely farm dogs. 🐶🐔🐹🚜

There were smiles from start to finish, lots of laughter, and so many magical moments shared together. It was a day full of fun, learning and adventure, creating special memories that we certainly won't forget anytime soon. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone at Woolley Animals for making us feel so welcome and for giving our children such a hands-on, memorable experience.

We would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to The Friends of The Clinton Primary School, Merton and The Dolton PTFA for helping to fund this fantastic trip. Your kindness and generosity made this wonderful day possible, and the parents for transporting their children to and from a lovely day. We are incredibly grateful for all your continued support. 💚

We have an opportunity for a Foundation Stage Practitioner to lead our Nursery provision at Dolton Church of England school during an exciting moment in the school’s journey. The school is currently part of the Alumnis Multi Academy Trust; however, the school will be transferring to the Learning Academy Partnership in 2026.

Our Nursery is a safe, happy, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and have fun. Through play, they practise new skills, investigate the world around them and challenge themselves to succeed. Our team of expert practitioners nurture the children’s characters, building the foundations of confidence, resilience and a love of learning.

Dolton’s Stay and Play will still go ahead tomorrow.
