As you may know I've been doing more portraiture recently - kids, dogs and grown-ups too.

Here's my latest, a commission for Alice in charcoal - "Mother & Child".

I did the photoshoot for this one, very happy with the composition and emotions we managed to achieve.

My life Drawing Class is starting again in Windsor, this Sunday, 5-7 pm!

HOW TO PRICE ARTWORK - HOW WE DO IT
Have you ever been faced with the question "Is that painting for sale? How much is it? or How much do you charge for a portrait commission?"

After the initial excitement, these questions can cause a mild panic! Without having a clear pricing strategy you can easily lose a sale or come across as unprofessional.

It’s tricky and pricing art is a little different from pricing most other products due to all the emotion involved.
