Be aware of the upcoming road closures when the two existing bridges over the M3 Junction 9 (Winnal) are demolished

Bridge demolitions weekend closures

We will demolish the old bridge decks over two full weekend closure of the M3 between junctions 8 and 9, in both directions which are currently planned for:

from 9pm on 23 October until 6am on 26 October 2026
from 9pm on 6 November until 6am on 9 November 2026

Looking for a Russian language tutor for my 13 year old son.

He wants to take Russian GCSE and unfortunately our current tutor can’t continue beyond the end of this month. We would prefer someone who teaches face to face but can consider online - we aren’t having much luck in finding anyone!

Hi. Due to a disability I am finding it very difficult to maintain my toenails. My teenager used to help me but has now gone to Uni (anything to escape my nails!!) I'm sure there must be individuals that would cut / file and paint toenails but would come to your home / are close to public transport options. Thanks

Looking for advice
We are in need of some support, to support a parent who is fighting the local school and education system
Long story short, secondary school have been shocking in the whole process and we now have a child that loved going to primary school that now is unable to attend
There are diagnosises in place and further assessments due soon,
Where is the support for the parent, to help the parent to be able to get the right education for the child?
Please no sarcastic comments welcomed, this is just a parent trying their best to educate their child, and getting massive rejection at every turn

The Watercress Line has teamed up with Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum to host these exclusive engineering challenge days at our authentic engineering hub, Ropley Station.

Designed for one team of 6 students aged 12–13 (Year 8), this cross-curricular day tasks pupils with researching, designing, and building solutions to real-life engineering problems.

* Who to bring: We encourage you to select students who have made the greatest recent progress or who would benefit the most from this unique environment.
* What’s at stake: Every student gets a certificate to celebrate their achievements, and the winning team takes home a trophy for their school!

# # 🎒 What You Need to Know

* Cost: Completely FREE. All challenge equipment, materials, and expert personnel are provided.
* Staffing: One school staff member must es**rt the team for the duration of the day.
* Student Prep: Pupils should wear school uniform and bring a pencil case and a packed lunch. (Light refreshments like drinks and biscuits are provided).
