Gorgeous F in Jolly Babies this week! 💕

I still refuse to use props for props sake - particularly in Jolly Babies class. Anything I do include is always well-considered and introduced carefully, one item at a time, no sensory overload! ☺️

This week? As well as our every-single-week percussion shakers, we also spent time on our gorgeous mirror song studying features and reflection (such as perfect little song/activity to play with at home too) and then we used the wonderful wave drums - pat, pat, pat - brilliant for so many areas of early development.

Before you ask - mirrors (great for tummy time!) were a bargain from Amazon some time ago (wish I could state some local independent shop but sadly not!) and the drums are Halilit Toys UK - more expensive than cheaper imitations but infinitely better.

The big 5-0 birthday for me today - oo-er - which also means it is a BIG Happy Birthday to Jolly Melodies Wi******er! 🎉 Yep, I started running classes in the week of my 30th birthday as a young Mummy of a 4yo and a 2yo so... it had been an incredible 2️⃣0️⃣ YEARS of music with you gorgeous Wi******er families! 💕🎶 I so love the magic that we create in our music classes together! Here's to the next decade! 🥂

Woman down. So sorry Monday families. Classes are cancelled today. I knew I was on the brink over the weekend. I should have made the call last night. I will email and text you all too to try and prevent any wasted journeys and class credits/refunds will be sorted in due course. Huge apologies. These two! ❤️ They both started Jolly Babies at a few weeks old and now - yup, the crawling milestone has been reached! So, after months of being just cuddled up with Mummy then gradually getting more interactive and watching things unfold from the edges - they now both want to be right in the thick of the action at the front and centre of class. ☺️ And, actually, interacting with each other quite a lot too! Seeing the progression and development in your little people is such a joy. T and R - you were fabulous this week! 🥰

I had one of these private blocks of sessions start this week and it was just wonderful!

What is a private class? Well, it works the same way as my normal public classes - but it is just for you and your group of friends! If there are maybe 8-10 of you in your NCT Wi******er & District or postnatal group - I am very happy to run classes just for you and your gang! I will provide your baby's very first gentle musical experiences and then, after class, you can (just as my private Tuesday class did) head through to the cafe where hopefully suitably tired babies will leave you to relax and catch up with coffee and cake! ☕️🧁
